It's fine baby

"We can talk about it tomorrow... Right now, I just want to sleep. Can I stay here tonight?" he asks softly.

I hesitate but then nod my head yes. I then pull the covers over both of us. As I cuddle up to him, I wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head onto his chest.

Within minutes, my body begins to relax as sleep begins to take over.

"Goodnight baby," he whispers.

"Goodnight," I mumble.

I open my eyes slightly as I try to wake myself up. Opening my left eye, I squint my eyes as I try to get rid of the drowsiness that consumes me.

Slowly, everything comes back into focus. Once I manage to get a grasp on reality, I notice that there are no longer any blankets covering me, meaning I must have moved in my sleep.

I quickly look around and notice that Ezra isn't in bed. As I stand up and look around, I realize that I'm alone. Confusion sets in as I begin walking around the house to see where he went.
