Mara's Pov

I stormed into Rhys's room, slamming the door behind me. "Rhys, you won't believe what Talia just did!" I exclaimed.

Rhys looked up from his thoughts, concerned. "What happened? he asked looking tired and frustrated"

I paced back and forth across the room, fuming. "Talia came to my room, demanding to know where her phone charger was. And then she had the nerve to say she's not leaving until she gets what she wants!"

Rhys's eyes narrowed. "I'll talk to her. This has gone far enough."

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief. "Thanks, Rhys. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Rhys smiled and pulled me into a hug. "Don't worry, Mara. We're in this together."

As we hugged, I heard a knock at the door. "Rhys, can I co
