Rhys Pov

I hugged Mara tightly, trying to comfort her. She was still upset with our conversation earlier. And I felt guilty for letting Talia stay.

I knew I had hurt my wife and I wanted to make it right. As we hugged, I felt her body relax on mine. She felt so comfortable. I had missed this, missed us.

I kissed her on her forehead and pulled her to the bed. As I lay in bed with Mara, I couldn't help but think about my encounter with Talia. As I talked to Talia I realized I didn't feel the same way I felt for her before anymore. I was done with her.

Mara drew closer to me, and I pulled her closer, feeling a sense of gratitude, relaxation, and love for my wife.

"I'm exactly where I'm meant to be, with her. I thought to myself."

I was still lost in thoughts when I slept off. I woke up the next day feeling better and lively.

I knew I needed to set boundaries with Talia, to make it clear that I'm committed to my wife and marriage.
