“Alpha you must be ready for anything I'm afraid, if Mara really is in this pack her chances of surviving a rogue attack are slim this is a small pack and their defenses must be low since they have attacked twice now and that is to my knowledge they could be attacking as we speak” Elera explained making my heart skip a beat.

No! I pushed the thought aside that Mara was dead, nothing seemed to make sense. How was everything connected?

I was torn, conflicted trying to make sense of why the rogues would be after Mara. I couldn’t believe she’d seek power, but it seemed that they thought she was a threat. The only way to find out the truth was to go to the pack marked on the map and see for myself. I had to find out what was going on.
