VIVIAN AND KIAN

As I ended the call, Kian smiled at me, his eyes crinkling at the corners. I wondered why he did that, but before I could ask, he spoke up.

"Where did you get that information from?" he asked, his voice slow, sexy, and deep.

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I replied, "I went to ask the bar man, he said you are a regular here and you are a good man."

Kian smirked and placed his head on my shoulders, his hair tickling my skin. I felt a surge of protectiveness towards him, like he needed to be patted and cared for.

As we sat there in silence, Kian's breathing slowed, and he fell asleep on my shoulders. I couldn't wake him up, no matter how hard I tried.
