VIVIAN AND KIAN’S POV

As Kian emerged from the bathroom, he looked refreshed and rejuvenated. "Are you good now?" I asked, noticing the change in his demeanor.

"Yeah, very much good," he replied, flashing a smile.

I smiled back, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "I should take my leave now," I said, gesturing towards the door.

But just as I was about to turn and leave, Kian suddenly touched his head and winced. "I am feeling a headache," he said, his face contorted in a grimace.

I raised an eyebrow, skeptical. I knew Kian well enough to recognize when he was faking it. And this was definitely one of those times.

"Really?" I asked, my tone laced with doubt.

Kian nodded vigorously, trying to convince me. "Yeah, it's a really bad one. I think I need to lie down."

I sighed, shaking my head. "Kian, you're not fooling anyone with that act," I said, my voice firm but gentle.
