KIAN’S POV

As I walked downstairs, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash over me. I knew exactly what this meeting was about, and I was not looking forward to it. My mother, Martha, was standing in the living room, a stern expression on her face. Mira, was also present, looking so comfortable.

"What's this meeting for?" I asked gruffly, trying to hide my annoyance.

Martha cleared her throat before speaking. "Kian, we need to talk about your upcoming wedding. Mira and I have been discussing the details, and there are a few things that need to be addressed."

I sighed inwardly, knowing that this was going to be a long and stressful conversation. I had been dreading this talk for weeks, and now that it was finally here, I just wanted to get it over with.
