Marcus

As I slowly came around, the first thing I felt was pain, a severe pain I had never experienced before. It was as if my head was being crushed in a vice, a wracking headache threatening to split my skull in two. Slowly, I struggled to open my eyes, blinking against the harsh light filtering into the room. The blurred figures slowly came into focus, and the first person I saw was Amanda.

"Amanda?" I croaked, my voice barely audible even to my own ears. My throat felt dry and scratchy, as if I hadn't spoken in days.

Her face softened with relief as she leaned closer, her hand reaching out to gently brush a strand of hair from my forehead. "Marcus, oh thank goodness you're awake," she murmured, her voice filled with emotion.

I managed a small smile, despite the throbbing pain pulsating through my head. "How long have I been out?" I asked, my voice still weak.

"A few hours," she replied, her fingers intertwined with mine as she gave my hand a gentle squeeze.

Amanda As I stood before my men, the tension in the air crackled with anticipation. We were on the brink of a pivotal moment, one that would shape the fate of our pack for years to come. My gaze swept over the assembled faces, each one a testament to the loyalty and dedication of my followers. They were ready to do whatever it took to ensure our victory."Listen up," I began, my voice cutting through the silence like a knife. "We've been planning this for weeks, and now the time has come to strike. Zane's pack has grown too powerful, too arrogant. It's time to show them that we won't be pushed around any longer."Murmurs of agreement rippled through the crowd as my words sunk in. They knew what was at stake, what we stood to gain if we succeeded."Our objective is simple: infiltrate Zane's territory and dismantle his pack from the inside out. Leave no stone unturned. We need to cripple them before they even know what's happening."I paused, letting the gravity of the situation sink i

Amanda As I trudged through the day, the weight of Alex's indifference hung heavy on my shoulders. Every attempt at conversation met with short replies or outright silence. It was like trying to reach someone behind a thick glass wall, where my words bounced back at me, unheard and unheeded. And I knew why."Alex," I said, hoping to break through the barrier he'd erected between us, "can we talk?"He glanced up from his work, his expression carefully neutral. "About what?"I hesitated, the words catching in my throat. "About... us. About how things have been since... since Marcus."A flicker of emotion crossed his face before it was swiftly masked. "There's nothing to talk about, Amanda.""But there is," I insisted, desperation creeping into my voice. "I can't stand this distance between us, Alex. You're my Beta, but you're also my friend."His jaw tightened, and for a moment, I thought he might relent. But then he shook his head, his gaze flicking away. "Things have changed, Amanda.

Amanda I stood there, hidden in the shadows, my heart pounding in my chest as I watched the scene unfold before me. Tiana was being dragged into the dimly lit room by my men. Her cries echoed off the walls, filled with confusion and fear."Why are you doing this? What's going on?" Tiana's voice trembled as she struggled against the firm grip of my men.I stepped forward, a smile playing on my lips despite the turmoil churning inside me. "Oh, Tiana," I said softly, my voice cutting through the tension in the room. "This is just the beginning."Tiana's eyes widened in disbelief as she turned to me, desperation clear in her gaze. "Amanda, please! You can't do this to me. I'm your sister!"I shook my head, my smile never faltering. "You should have thought about that before you chose your side, Tiana," I replied, my tone cold and calculated. "You made your decision when you married Zane, took him away from me and unleashed your terror on the innocent people of our land."Tiana's eyes f

AmandaAs I sat on the balcony of my pack house, the cool evening breeze brushed against my skin, but it did little to soothe the turmoil raging within me. My thoughts were consumed by my estranged sister, Tiana. It was hard to fathom how much hatred she harbored towards me, her own flesh and blood. And now, she was locked away in our pack's solitary confinement, a consequence of her actions."I never thought it would come to this," I muttered to myself, my voice barely audible over the rustling leaves. "Tiana, how did it come to this? How did we become enemies?"My mind drifted back to our childhood, to the days when Tiana and I were inseparable. We were more than sisters; we were best friends. But as we grew older, jealousy and resentment crept into Tiana's heart, poisoning our bond."I never wanted things to end up like this," I whispered, my heart heavy with sorrow. "But she left me no choice. She betrayed me in the worst possible way."The memory of Zane, the love of my life, be

AmandaWhat I did not expect as soon as I got to the scene of the fight was to see so many of Zane’s men crowding my men. At that moment, it just seemed like he had called all of his forces for this particular mission which just told me that he valued Tiana more than anything else. Normally, that would have put a pain in my heart but at this point and stage I was at in my life, I just couldn’t care. Now, it was established that they were two peas in a pod and there was nothing we could say or do that would change either of their thinking. I had just been wasting my time when I thought there was a way I could have talked Tian out of helping Zane. How foolish I had been.“Secure the exit and the entryway. No one gets in or out!” I commanded.Alex, together with some of my men, ran towards the areas I had mentioned and as they ran, I couldn't be more proud of the people who had stuck by and with me for as long as I could remember. All of them?!!!” I barked. My hands were literally shaking when I realized that the men I had sent to rescue my wife from Amanda’s pack were all dead and what’s worse, she used our very weakness against them, knowing quite well that they had no chance of escape. How she has thought about that all these years was something I was trying so hard to understand. Now, she had proven to me that she was one I couldn't just cross and get away easily. She didn’t come to play at all and I knew I needed to be fully ready for whatever she had in store for me. “Yes sire, all of them.” My chief guard said.Slumping on my throne, I suddenly grew tired. I had hoped that my wife would be rescued but not only did she remain in Amanda’s pack but my men paid the ultimate price. How Amanda with so little guards could defeat mine and even with fire was something I just couldn’t understand. If I didn't know better. AmandaThe morning after the devastating battle, I called for an emergency meeting with my pack mates. As we gathered in the dimly lit council room, the weight of the previous night's losses hung heavy in the air. Alex stood beside me, his expression grim as he began to give me a breakdown of the casualties."We lost five pack members in the battle," Alex said, his voice tight with emotion. These weren't just numbers on a report—they were my family, my responsibility. Each loss felt like a dagger to my heart.I nodded, determination burning in my veins. Zane had crossed a line, and there would be consequences. "We can't afford to wait for them to strike again. We have to take the fight to them.

She moved with an intensity that caught me off guard, each strike delivered with a force that spoke volumes about her resolve. I had underestimated her, and now, as I struggled to keep up with her relentless attacks, I realized just how formidable she truly was."Is this all you’ve got, Zane?" Amanda taunted, her voice a mix of anger and sorrow. "Did you really think you could get away with killing Tiana?"I blocked her punch, feeling the impact reverberate through my arm. "It wasn’t personal, Amanda. You know how this world works."Her eyes narrowed, and she swung her leg in a swift arc, aiming for my head. I barely ducked in time, the air whistling as her kick missed its mark by inches. "Not personal? She was my sister, you bastard! You took her from me!"I couldn’t deny the truth of her words. This wasn't just a gut feeling; it was as if every fiber of my being was screaming out in warning. The battle we had both started long ago was far from over, and I knew that he was coming to finish it. My breath hitched as I considered the implications. Zane was not just a formidable opponent; he was ruthless and relentless, qualities that made him even more dangerous."Get ready!" I barked, my voice carrying the urgency of the situation. Amanda As I lay on the cold, hard ground, my vision blurred and the sounds around me dulled, I fought to stay conscious. Each breath was a struggle, each inhale and exhale a battle against the pain that radiated from my stomach. It felt like I had been stabbed, a searing, sharp agony that consumed my entire being. My hand instinctively pressed against the wound, but I couldn't feel any blood, just an overwhelming emptiness. A hollow sensation that told me something, or someone, had been taken away from me."Beatrice," I gasped, my voice barely a whisper. The pain was so intense that it was hard to form words, but I knew I had to communicate what I was feeling. Beatrice was crouched beside me, her face a mask of concern and determination. Her hands moved swiftly, checking my injuries, trying to stabilize me."Amanda, hold on," Beatrice urged, her voice steady but laced with urgency. "You're going to be okay. Just stay with me.""No," I managed to croak out, shaking my head slightly.

Zane, the man I had once loved, the man I had pledged my life to, was now a tyrant, causing havoc and destruction wherever he went. I had watched in horror as his ambitions grew darker and more twisted, and now I knew I had to stop him before it was too late.“This wasn’t what I bargained for? Why did he suddenly turn this way? I muttered.I turned away from the balcony and paced back into the chamber, my mind racing. I couldn't believe how far Zane had fallen. When we married, he was charming and full of dreams even though it was one to make my sister suffer but those dreams had turned into nightmares for our people. He had declared war on Amanda and her pack, accusing them of treachery without a shred of evidence. I knew Amanda and I was certain she was innocent. Zane's vendetta against her was pe

  • Once Rejected, Twice Accepted   Power comes with a price.

ZaneThe power coursing through me was intoxicating, a heady rush that made every nerve tingle with a sense of invincibility. I stood at the edge of the cliff, looking down at the world that now seemed so small, so manageable. It was hard to believe that not long ago, I was just another face in the crowd, another insignificant speck in the grand tapestry of existence. But now? Now I was a god, or at least something very close to it."Zane, you have to be careful," I murmured to myself, the wind carrying my voice away. I knew I was right. This power, this incredible, unearthly strength, it was a gift but it was also a curse if I didn't handle it correctly. No one could know the source of my abilities. If they did, they could find a way to strip them from me, to use them against me and I couldn't allow that. Not now, not ever."Zane," a voice called from behind, and I turned to see Riley approaching, her expression a mix of concern and curiosity. She was one of the few who had seen the

  • Once Rejected, Twice Accepted   What do you want?!

Amanda Seeing Tiana within my pack after what we’ve promised ourselves was something I didn't expect. I mean, i expected to see her after the battle was over but now, seeing her now just told me that she and Zane might have had a plan to help him escape because i didn’t really see any reason why she was here. It just didn’t make sense.“What do you want?” I said, icily. There was tension in the area, that much I could tell. What I hated at that moment was not knowing the plan that she and Zane had. It made me mad because I knew that she didn’t just come here on her own volition, there was definitely something going on and I wanted nothing more than to know what it was. Tiana remained silent like i wasn’t talking to her which made me mad because it just meant that she didn’t regard me at all and she hadn’t put what was between us behind her.“For the last time Tiana, what do you want?” I asked again.I was slowly losing my patience and I knew that I would lose it if she didn’t tell me
