Chapter 16: NIGHT SCANDAL

Zhang You walked straightforward to Zoe and whispered venomously in her ears. "Don't even think to get out alive from here today!" Lin Zoe trembled and stayed quiet not to alert this psycho. Zhang You grasped hardly her hand and caressed her neck. "I've sent men to kill you just as you get out." 

She showed a watch attached to her wrist to Lin Zoe.

"As soon as I get the signal from here, they will shoot you dead."  She laughed and went out quickly then suddenly stopped, "Lin Zoe don't even think of getting help. As soon as you do, you will be killed." 

Lin Zoe trembled and stopped her while still sitting on the sofa.

"Zhang You before you kill me, can I know your reason?" She laughed and mocked to the loudest point at Lin Zoe. "You really don't know why? Guess for yourself!" 

Lin Zoe was left alone not knowing what to do. 

"I can't call Shen Zi! I will have to play tricks."

Shen Zi went to the restroom and immediately called Lu Jin. "Lu Jin! I will need to get me, silent guns and needles poisoned with sleeping poison." The young man was surprised at the request from his boss and had the courage to ask. "Boss, what makes you want those weapons?" 

"It's an urgency, Lu. We found the culprit!"

The hall was plenty as many people gathered to see this rising beauty hiding behind the podium and diving in such an elegant aura. Many people fell in love with her talent and came to see if she could have some words with them tonight. 

The host arrived and Zhang You was waiting patiently. 

"Zoe it will be a pleasure to see you killed." 

The Host went directly up to the public and greeted them. "Dear audience we are thanking you for your presence but today we have a special guest. Please let's enter Lin Zoe." 

Spots of blue lights gleamed and the light went off. Blue plastics diamond gleamed and the audience watched impatiently. 

Lin Zoe walked elegantly to the small table with sofas. The audience acclaimed at seeing such elegant beauty. She moved the entire audience and Zhang You exploded with rage and tried to bottle it for the public. 

They sat on the sofas and greeted the audience. The audience warmed up and stirred at seeing Lin Zoe. Even though she did not yet make it for the top stars it was impressive. 

"Zhang You, I can see you're angered. I will definitely stop you." 

The host stood up and calmed the excitement of the audience. "Dear audience, you seem very excited and have much love for Miss Zoe. For today, she is gonna share some thoughts with us." Zhang You clenched her fists, "Bitch! So I'm just here to sit beside you? Just wait when you will be bleeding pitifully." 

"Let's start with some common questions!" the host said as he sat back

Zoe looked through the front seats and didn't notice her husband. 

"Shen where are you?"

Shen Zi waited outside of the building and looked at the road. The night was freezing and he was worried about Zoe. He had already sent two of his bodyguards to look for people who could be armed and targeting Zoe. 

Zhang You is unable to kill her on the spot in front of such public and to make sure she died quickly will only send people to kill her and make a scandal. Shen Zi was not intending a brutal fight and gave his silent guns to one-shot them then bring them to justice.

Effectively, Shen was waiting for Lu Jin with the sleeping needles. He had to stop Zhang You before she can do anything displeasing. Lu Jin arrived and stopped the car quickly.

"Boss, here are the needles." Lu Jin handed him a crate

Inside the crate, were the sleeping needles which were carefully wrapped in a paper. "You have to keep them first Lu Jin. I will..." Shen had received a call from one of his bodyguard. They had just shared how they caught the snippers and shot one metal ball on their stomachs with sleeping powder. 

"Boss we got a big catch tonight. Why not take a look at those killers?" Lu Jin persuaded

"Let's go! There's no time and danger is roaming on Zoe,"

Inside the platform, the host was still with the young maidens and Zhang You was lucky enough to be remarked by the host which made her even more stirred to kill Lin Zoe. Both of them smiled forcefully, but secretly kept grudges in their hearts. Effectively, Lin Zoe was looking for a way to stop Zhang You from taking away her life. 

With her wits and intelligence, she may have an opportunity to call for help or flee. 

"Miss Zoe, the platform here and the excited audience within us had all seen how capable you were and wish to know more about your personality," he said. The audience roared and they all stirred up. Even though she wasn't that famous for now, she got a lot of support and made her determined to keep up with her work. 

Zoe laughed and nodded, "Thank you everyone! For my personality I will like to say, I'm someone devoted to fashion entertainment and being a model makes my pride. I hope you can keep encouraging me in the future which gives me strenght to continue working hard like this,"

As she kept speaking, Zhang You was wishing more and more to kill her but was unable to make a call. She then remembered the watch and instantly pressed the red button on it which alerted the snippers.

"You don't deserve to live longer, Why not shorten your life span?"

Zoe kept speaking and now spoke to the host. The killing had to be immediate but nothing happening to Zoe nor a mark. "Why is the bitch not dying? I paid huge money for this and they agreed on immediate killing. Maybe there..."

Lin Zoe stood up and went infront of the audience.

"I wanted to show an extra for this platform interview. So, I can do hand signs." Their ears shook straight upward and the audience was as curious as the host.

"Miss Zoe, what type of things can you do with hand signs and can you demonstrate some?" The host politely asked

Zoe smiled and drew an awkward smile to Zhang You then continued, "Firstly I use..."

As she prepared to speak someone shook the door and broke in the platform brutally. Everyone was shocked with happiness drained as they noticed it was the police officers.

What could they do here?

After then, Shen entered with his two bodyuards and Lu Jin by his side.

"Shen! But where were you?" the audience became curious and chattered secretly. "What is the police doing here and why is there the big boss Shen Zi?" Before they could notice it, Zhang You was shot with a sleeping needle and slept on the sofa peacefully.

The police men searched for a specific person then walked briskly to the platform where the young woman was.

"Indeed it's her. Arrest Miss Zhang You immediately!"
