"I reject you, Amanda, as my mate," Christopher Wilson, the newly appointed Alpha, let out as he brushed my hands away from him. I couldn’t understand what was going on here, but I knew it wasn’t good enough or going to be worth it in the end.
“What are you saying, Christopher? Please tell me you’re joking.” I held his hands one more time. He couldn’t have meant those words, not after what we’ve been through together. He didn’t let out even the deepest emotion.
“I can’t let a weakling like you be my Luna. To keep it clear to you, the one who is going to be my Luna is none other than my one and only Barbra Baker, the strongest lady in the pack," he let out, shoving my hand once more and moving towards my sworn enemy, Barbra. Barbra and I have never had anything in common since we met, and we were always in a surge of anger upon meeting each other. Her power level was far greater than anything I had ever had. I was just a weak omega that no one wanted. What else? I became a homeroom teacher for the little ones while she became a model and a fierce hunter.
“Darling, why did you ever get entangled with a piece of trash like her? You should have waited for me to have arrived," she said, romancing his chest in front of everyone. I couldn’t hold my tears back; it hurt far more than when my parents left me for the afterlife. I was speechless, not knowing what to do next.
“If this is how you choose to leave me, then it's fine. What about my properties in your care?” I inquired, seeing how the scenes were playing out. Barbra walked over and, without any sympathy, launched her fist into my face. I could feel my nose bleed and the intense pain that came with it. This was my summer holiday but it was getting bad right from the start.
“Who do you think you are to talk to my soulmate like that? Weaklings like you don’t have the right to love. You’re just a worthless piece of trash nobody loves. Get that into your weak and deranged brain," Barbra spat out while stepping on my hands.
“You are the one who should be called weak. Preying on the weak because you are blessed makes you more of a nonentity than a Luna. You can do anything you want with me; I don’t give a damn. Just so you know, strength doesn’t lie in the muscle," I spoke up with tears in my eyes.
“You have such a wide mouth for a mere omega, a weakling with no one to save her from her misery. If you ever speak out, you’ll have yourself to blame," she let out, kicking me off the veranda and onto the floor. No one showed even the slightest pity towards me; all they could say was “Serve you right, bitch.”.
Blood oozed out more from my nose, and suddenly my ear was entangled in the bleeding. I could barely stand after I had crashed onto the floor. I needed help, but no one was willing to help a weakling like me. I was used to it, and I believed it was only natural if everyone despised me for being weak. It was always like that, ever since my parents left and never returned. They had left me with my elder sisters, who also left out of shame for being my sisters.
They were kind enough to leave me with a farmhouse and an old bungalow, which I had used to survive. No one cared about me; I was lonely; I found joy in the darkness; and I always lived in the shadow, trying not to be a burden to anybody.
School was never friendly to weaklings; I always got picked on and had to live with several bruises and severe injuries. Being the weakest, I had zero freedom of expression, and I was always used to making people happy by getting my ass wiped. I was none other than a freak no one wanted to be with, a mere mortal, a glass one could easily shatter with a push of their finger. Barbra was always the one who took it too far, making me clean her shoes with my tongue, carry her textbooks, do her assignment, end up getting the beating of a lifetime or hours of torture. We were enemies and always called to the panel to get things sorted out.
Christopher was the only one who cared for me; he had taken it upon himself to take me out of the darkness and show me the light. He became my only source of joy and happiness. As we grew older together, feelings began to set in. We yearned for one another occasionally, and we ended up as lovers.
He fought off everyone who wanted me dead or injured; he became my backbone, never letting go of me for even a second. We were bonded together by faith, and I loved him very much as a soulmate. I never thought I would end up being betrayed by the very hand that cared for me.
“You know what? You are just so pathetic. Christopher I really don’t want to see her near me again; she reeks of weakness; her bones to me are twigs; I don’t want to end up breaking them before she even gets the chance to use them," Barbra continued ranting while I managed to stand back up on my feet.
“You don’t have any right to tell me what to do. I don’t give a damn about you; all I want is my property; that’s all I have left.” I pleaded on my knees. Christopher had a plain expression on his face; he most likely had intentions to bail out on me from the very beginning. I just wish I had seen it earlier.
"Darling, are you going to let a useless piece of shit like her drag your name on the ground like that?” Barbra romanced his chest much more than the last killing me in between.
“There’s no need, because from this moment onwards, she's not a member
of the Silver Moon Pack.”.
I couldn’t believe my ears; I was no longer a member of the Silver Moon Pack. This seemed so unrealistic; I couldn’t believe he would go this far just to please my worst enemy. Maybe they had both planned it out, and I was just their key to the biggest farmland and the oldest bungalow in the entire pack. A mere teacher who didn’t worth anything but her resources. A blunt Omega.“Guards take her out of town and throw her into the woods. She is forever banished from this pack and can never return. If she ever comes back, eliminate her immediately,” Christopher added, taking Barbra by the waist and bringing her close to him. She had a splendid look on her face as the guards took hold of me and were about to drag me out of town. “You know what? I will leave, but remember, there’s always a price to pay. Believe me, Christopher, I can survive with or without you.” I blurted it out before running out of the ceremony in tears. “She should have kept her mouth shut. That’s the price of being w
Time took us by surprise, and there I was on his bed, lying right beside him. I didn’t want to leave, but I didn’t want to be a burden to someone else. He was heartbroken, and so was I, but I couldn’t let it all go after my experience with Christopher. He wasn’t the type to care about me since he had a family of his own, but who am I to judge him? I carefully came out of the duvet and grabbed my clothes, which were scattered all around the room. I got dressed up quickly and silently so he wouldn’t notice I was getting ready to leave. Our needs and desires had gotten the best of us last night, and we ended up exploring our inner selves. I couldn’t let him see the true weakness in me and leave like the others. I didn’t want to feel pitied by everyone; I wanted to be my own person and not a dependent one. I tiptoed out of the house, closing each and every door slowly and silently. I heaved a sigh of relief upon getting out of his house. He didn’t seem to have woken up, and that was wha
Ashley was actually Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack. The strongest in the seven werewolf districts of the south. Christopher was the second on the dashboard, making Ashley the leader of them all. I think I slept with the strongest man in the southern district on our first meeting.“Members of the Crescent Moon Pack I welcome you all to the annual hunting feast. I was successful in killing four thousand six hundred different beasts in a week, which breaks the record of four thousand five hundred and ninety. I just want us all to know that this feast is dedicated to everyone, not just me, the hunter. Cheers to us all!” Ashley grabbed a glass of cocktail from a waiter and raised it to the air before drowning it all in his throat.“Also, we have a very special somebody in our midst. Give it up for the newest member of the Crescent Moon Pack, Amanda Martinez,” he added. I wanted to run away and leave him hanging, but luck wasn’t on my side. The blue sky filled with clouds made the calling birds sing in their glory. The disturbing sounds of clashing woods made them stop and wonder what was happening. There it was, the army of the Silver Moon pack, raiding the woods for something and slashing down the trees. It had been two months since I became a member of the Silver Moon Pack. Ashley had trained me to become a much better werewolf with sword-fighting skills. I couldn’t wolf out or shift due to my weak system, but he assured me I would in no time. He made me undergo vigorous training that almost made me crash down dead. During training, he didn’t show me even the slightest pity; he believed that would make me weak. We had become the newest lovers in town, and every single lady in town was jealous of me. Some called me a snatcher. I don’t know how that came about, but that’s how we ladies behave sometimes.
