"Liv? Where did you disappear to?" Jade asked me in confusion so I smiled over at her. "I had diarrhea." I lied and she pulled her face in disgust. "Should we go home?" She asked me so I nodded my head at her. "Yeah we can go home, are you sleeping over?" I asked her and she nodded at me. "Yeah, we haven't had a sleepover in ages." She said with a smile on her face before she threw her arm around me. "Come on, my car is parked out back." She told me. "Let me just go greet, Griff," I told her and she nodded at me before she went outside. I quickly made my way over to Griff who was busy kissing some blonde girl. "Griffin!" I called him and he pulled away from the girl before he smiled at me. "Olivia! What's up!" He asked before pulling me into a tight hug and the girl frowned at us. "Don't worry he's my best mate," I told her and she just glared at us before she disappeared into the crowd. "Nice girlfriend," I remarked and he sighed heavily. "I know she's not the nices
Cole's POVI sat in my car as I've been stuck in traffic for the past hour. If I'm lucky I might make it back in time to go support Liv. I know I'm letting her down but what I'm about to do is for the both of us. The cars in front of me slowly started to move again so I sat upright before driving out of town and in the direction of the city. After a lengthy drive I finally parked my car in the hopital parking lot. Before I climbed out of the car I grabbed my backpack from the backseat and locked the door behind me. I looked down at my watch before walking to the frontdoor of the hopsital. I have about two hours left to run my errands, then I have to head back if I want to be in time to see Liv compete. I entered the crowded hospital building before entering the elevator. One of my friends back in Boston's dad is a doctor at this hospital, and knowing that I'd come home this weekend I made an appointment with him. I stepped out of the elevator as soon as it stopped on the fifth fl
"And some food." Liv demanded so I immediately nodded in agreement. I'm going to spoil her rotten."Okay, let's go." I softly told her before I placed my arm around her shoulders then we walked over to my car. I opened her door and she thanked me before she climbed into the car.I got in on my side of the car before I started driving and we just started talking about anything and everything. We haven't been this comfortable around each other in a long time. I missed her. Once we were done buying the food and ice cream that I promised her we drove home. After ten more minutes of driving we finally arrived at home so I parked my car in the garage. And just as we got out of the car it started raining outside. We made our way into the house and headed straight upstairs to my room. Liv switched my tv on before she grabbed a shirt from my closet. I got our food ready while Liv climbed under the blankets on my bed. I pulled the hoodie I was wearing over my head before throwing it aside. I
After we were done in the kitchen, Cole and I ate the pasta that we made and decided to sit in the living room. We sat cuddled up on a couch while watching tv. We suddenly heard the microwave beeping, alarming us that our popcorn was done and Cole got up from his seat beside me before going into the kitchen. His phone suddenly started ringing so I frowned lightly before going back to watching tv. His message alert went off and the screen lit up again. I bet it's that Gemma girl. I always knew she had a crush on Cole, she can't leave him alone that's why she's always texting and calling him. Even her dad has his number, I mean what's up with that? I carefully leaned forward and read the text on Cole's phone."Your DNA test results will be available to collect on October 15th 2024."Cole did a DNA test? Is that what he was doing yesterday? I expanded the message but was careful not to open it and the hospital address caught my attention. I heard Cole entering the living room again so I
I gave one last glance at Ajay's grave before I left the cemetery. I haven't visited him in a while, I miss visiting him often. I miss the times when Ajay's death was the only source of my pain, when all I wished for was to see him again. But lately I just keep wanting and wishing for more. I walked back to school and got there just in time for the first period. I grabbed my books from my locker and started walking to my class, I felt someone placing their arm around my shoulder and when I looked up I found Ryan smiling down on me. "Hey, stranger." I wrapped my arms around his waist."Stranger?" He questioned with a deep frown settled on his forehead. "Yeah, now that you're on the football team you're too cool to hang out with me." I told him and he laughed lightly. "Liv, you're the one who's been ignoring my calls. I've been looking for you." He told me and I sighed lightly. "That's not true." I told him in disbelief and he raised a single eyebrow at me. "It's not, I would neve
Ryan and I walked into McClaren's together, while catching up with each other. I laughed at something he said as we made our way to the back of the restaurant. Once we got to the final booth I saw Storm sitting there. I frowned over at Ryan and he smiled before taking a step back from me. "You planned this?" I asked Ryan and he nodded at me. "Just talk to him, okay. And if you don't want to talk, just hear him out." Ryan told me so I nodded at him before I sat down across from Storm. "I'm sorry it had to come to this but you weren't answering any of my calls." He told me in an apologetic tone. "Sorry about that." I softly told him. "Don't apologize." He pointedly told me. "I just thought you wanted nothing to do with me. You broke up with me, remember?" I asked him and he nodded at me. "And yet you moved on first." He said and a feeling of guilt washed over me."What did you expect, Storm. At least he was willing to fight for me." I said and he clenched his jaw. "Like you fou
"So why didn't you ask Tyler to the dance?" Jade asked me and I blankly looked at her. "Because he'll say no just like every other guy in school," I said tiredly and she rolled her eyes at me. "You need to like grab a dick and su-" "Oh my god shut up!" I said in disbelief and she laughed at me. I took my science book out of my locker before closing it. "What I meant to say was, you need to get a boyfriend before the bonfire," Jade explained and I groaned. "I'm telling you, nobody wants to date me," I said and she breathed out in frustration. "Just come to the dance tonight and I'll set you up with someone." She said and I sighed in defeat. "You need to move on, Liv. It's been two years." She said and I averted my gaze from hers. "Fine, I'll come tonight," I said and she squealed before hugging me. We went to class together. I went to sit at the back of the class and Jade sat in the seat in front of me as usual. "Good morning class." Mr Pierce said and the entire class greete
"Cole I can explain," I said when he stopped in front of me. "Go ahead." He said with one eyebrow raised at me. "He forced me to." I blurted out and everyone seemed taken aback by my words. Cole angrily looked between me and Rook. "That's the best you could come up with?" He asked me and I ran a hand through my hair. "I'm not lying. Ask him." I said confidently and everyone looked over at Rook. "She's lying man. She kissed me first and then she asked me to be her date tonight." Rook said and I looked at him in disbelief. "What the fuck, Liv?" Cole asked me and my heart started pounding faster in my chest. "Are you seriously gonna believe this cheating liar over me?" I asked him in disbelief and he looked at me with narrowed eyes. He turned around and punched Rook square on the jaw and the football team made a circle around them while cheering them on. "Cole stop it!" I yelled when he threw another punch at Rook. "Stop!" I yelled again. Cole pulled back from Rook when he final
