One Last Hurrah

Ryan and I walked into McClaren's together, while catching up with each other. I laughed at something he said as we made our way to the back of the restaurant.

Once we got to the final booth I saw Storm sitting there. I frowned over at Ryan and he smiled before taking a step back from me.

"You planned this?" I asked Ryan and he nodded at me.

"Just talk to him, okay. And if you don't want to talk, just hear him out." Ryan told me so I nodded at him before I sat down across from Storm.

"I'm sorry it had to come to this but you weren't answering any of my calls." He told me in an apologetic tone.

"Sorry about that." I softly told him.

"Don't apologize." He pointedly told me.

"I just thought you wanted nothing to do with me. You broke up with me, remember?" I asked him and he nodded at me.

"And yet you moved on first." He said and a feeling of guilt washed over me.

"What did you expect, Storm. At least he was willing to fight for me." I said and he clenched his jaw.
