Keira’s POVThe rest of the party was pretty uneventful. I met so many people, hopefully I can remember everyone’s names. I set my alarm for 5 am, and when I wake up it’s still dark outside. I sit up and turn my alarm off. Gosh it’s so early. I begrudgingly drag myself out of bed and into the bathroom. I splash my face with water in an attempt to try and wake up more. It helps, a little. Keira’s POVOver the next few days, Talia and I get into a good routine at work. My body’s still not used to getting up so early, but I’m still going. Hopefully I’ll get more used to it soon. Getting to know everyone in the village has been easy. I’ve even come to know some of the warriors that come into the coffee shop everyday. Tomorrow is Sunday and the shop is closed. Talia wants to take me shopping, since I still don’t have very many clothes. The next morning, I didn’t have my alarm set, but I still woke up early, that’s a good sign I suppose. Keira’s POVOver the next few days, I was cautious not to draw attention to myself, but I kept my ears open for anything. To my surprise I didn’t hear anything about the incident in the woods. The only thing I did hear was a planned pack run. The wolf I saw in the woods was definitely high ranking. Based on their size and speed, I’m guessing at least a Delta, or maybe a particularly large warrior. This pack run could be a ploy to see all of the wolves. Theo’s POVI’m in a tent meeting with my allied Alpha’s when Grace steps in. “Alpha Theo,” she nods to me then to the other Alphas, showing her respect for our positions. “Forget the formalities Grace. Mason’s POVI feel a pain in my chest and then suddenly the voices of my pack come rushing in. They’re all crying out for my father, Alpha Thorin. I fall to my knees, and hold on tight to Lily as their cries continue to fill my head. The weight of their sorrow mixed with my own is almost too much to bear.
