WELL, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THAT!

Nicki felt her hands shaking beside her and sweat clouded her forehead.

“ Are you suddenly deaf? He said you should go into your room, take off your clothes and wait for him.”

Nicki's stepmother, Grace sneered, her eyes filled with so much hatred.

“ Fa…father. I'm sorry. Just let me off this once, I promise to be at my best behaviour.”

She pleaded, her voice quivering in fear, but Gamma Levi wasn't ready to let her off the hook.

“ Don't let me repeat myself again, Nicki. Do you want to get locked up in that dark room?” He asked and her pupils dilated instantly.

“ No! No, father. I will go to my room and take off my clothes.” She muttered and walked into her room, her body quivering in fear.

Once Nicki was gone, Grace turned to Gamma Levi.

“ I heard she's getting transferred to Clawstone Academy. Will she be fine?” Grace asked, masking her true behaviour in front of her husband.

“ She will. The school will teach her so many lessons and lessen her pride.” Gamma Levi said and stormed off to Nicki's room.

Grace's lips curved into an evil smirk and her eyes glittered with mischievousness.

“ This is just the beginning, Nicki Bernardo. I will make your life miserable.”

She clicked her tongue and sat down on the cushion, watching her favourite TV series.

Nicki began to take off her clothes in front of her dressing mirror.

Her fair skin was covered in bruises and red marks due to her father's excessive beating.

He has turned her into a punching bag, since the death of her mother.

“ Mom, I really wish you're alive. I can't bear this pain.” She muttered, a tear dropping down her eyes.

Nicki was able to wipe it off once the door pushed open, revealing her father.

“ I told you to take off those damn clothes!” He yelled, folding the belt in his hand, ready to whip her all over.

“ Dad, can't you let me off this once? I'm your daughter, not a punching bag!” Nicki begged, tears leaving her eyes.

“ Not until you act like one.” Gamma Levi said, taking slow steps towards her.

“ Do you know how long you've been disgracing me? I have become a laughing stock in this Daven Pack! All because of you!”

He yelled, raising the belt up, landing it on Nicki's back.

A scream tore off her lips, as he continued whipping her.

“ Your mother died because of you, dirty omega!” He raised the belt and landed it on her skin, almost peeling the skin off. “ She died while bringing you to life. I just wish you were never born!”

He continued whipping her until her skin turned red with bruises and he was able to let out all his anger.

“ Get prepared, you're leaving for your new college tomorrow!” He glared at her one last time, before dashing out of her room.

Once he was gone, Nicki sat on the floor, resting her face in-between her knees, as tears left her eyes.

‘ You shouldn't have been born. You're a curse!’

Those words have been haunting her ever since the death of her mother when she was born.

Nicki has always carried the burden of being her mother's killer, and that was what turned her into a tomboy and a trouble maker, as that was what she found interesting in her life.

After crying profusely for over thirty minutes, she took her bath despite her bruised body and changed into comfortable clothing.

Dashing out of the mansion, she seeked for peace and solace outside the house, as she felt like she might die of suffocation, if she had stayed even a second longer.

As she made her way to her favourite ice-cream shop, she came across some girls in the pack.

They were all throwing disdainful glares at Nicki, but she cared less as she munched on her vanilla ice cream.

She had once heard that her mother was a lover of vanilla ice cream, and that made her love vanilla ice cream also, as it reminds her of her mother.

“ Just take a look at her!” One of the girls laughed. “ I bet she was transferred once again!”

They laughed, but Nicki totally ignored them. She wasn't in a mood to exchange words, but they were putting so much effort in making her talk.

She stood up from the counter of the ice cream shop, paid the man and started walking back home.

“ What do you expect from a motherless bitch?” Another said, and that statement made Nicki halt on her track.

She turned around, her eyes red with anger.

Without thinking twice, she matched towards the second girl who called her a motherless bitch.

Just when she was about to slap the girl across her face, a strong masculine hand held hers.

“ Let. Me. Go.” Nicki gritted her teeth, her eyes turning bloodshot with tears and anger.

“ And if I don't?” A low hoarse voice came.

“ Bastard! Let me go!” Nicki struggled out of his hold.

“ I won't let you lay your stinking hands on my girlfriend.” The masculine voice came to view.

He was looking like a Greek god with full lips, raven black hair, thick brows, chiselled jaw and delicate nose.

If it were some other girls, they would have fallen for such a handsome devil, but not with Nicki.

“ Then, tell that girlfriend of yours not to overstep her boundaries. I will deal with her if she messes with me.” Nicki warned sternly, her gaze fixed on the man in front of her.

“ You don't have the right to touch my girlfriend.” He let out a dark smirk.

“ I will, when she calls me a motherless bitch again.”

Nicki's eyes met with his in defiance. She wasn't the type to back down from a challenge, not when she was hit in a sour spot.

“ Do you know who I am?” The man chuckled, his eyes becoming another shade darker.

“ Well, I give zero fucks about who you're.” Nicki shoved her hands into her pocket.

“ As long as you're not the Alpha Prince of this pack, I don't give a damn. Even if you're the Alpha Prince, you can go to hell for all I care.”

The girl who had insulted Nicki wanted to interrupt, but the man stopped her.

“ Is that so?” He leaned closer, his face just an inch away from Nicki's.

“ Yes, it is. Now, go to hell!” She rolled her eyes, turned around and walked out of the ice-cream shop.

Once she was gone, the lady turned towards the guy with a pout.

“ Why didn't you tell her who you are? I bet she would pee on herself once she finds out.”

“ Ellie, I told you not to go about looking for trouble, right? I can't keep protecting you from everyone!” The guy said and Ellie pouted.

“ Thank you for being the best boyfriend ever.” Ellie stood on her toes and pecked the guy on his lips.

“ So, when are you returning to college? Because I'm going with you.”

“ Tomorrow, I will be returning tomorrow.”

“ Okay then, I'm coming with you.”

As they made their way out of the ice cream shop also, the guy turned around, looking at the direction in which Nicki had followed.

“ Interesting.”

A dark smirk graced his heart-shaped lips.
