AN INVITATION TO HELL

Though Nicki was surprised, she hid it and walked out of the hallway to her room.

Upon getting there, she opened the door, got in and dropped her luggages.

Her bed was at the far end of the room, while the bed at the right side belonged to her supposed roommate, who might be in class.

Without arranging her luggages, Nicki slouched on the bed and fell into a deep slumber.

Thirty into sleeping, she began to whimper slowly, swear clouded her forehead and tears left her eyes.

She began to shake her head and her lips were quivering.

‘ Don't! Stay away from me!’

‘ I'm not your mate, monster! Stay away!’

Nicki was sleep-talking in her dream.

The door creaked open and a girl walked in, holding a few books in her hand.

A frown settled on her face at first, upon seeing Nicki, but the frown turned into furrowed brows when she noticed Nicki crying and whimpering in her sleep.

“ Hey, wake up!” She tapped her, but Nicki wouldn't budge.

“ Hello, wake up!”

She tapped her again and again, until Nicki opened her eyes slowly and sniffled.

“ Who are you?” Nicki asked, sitting upright, as she wiped her sweat and tears away.

“ I'm your roommate, that's my space.” The girl pointed at the other bed.

“ Oh cool.” Nicki replied and fell back on the bed, ready to drift into another slumber.

“ What's your name? I'm Rosabella.”

“ I'm Nicki. Nice to meet you too.”

With that said, she fell back to sleep and only woke up when the sun rose, the next day.

When the sun slipped into the curtain, Nicki groaned softly and rubbed her eyes.

She looked around to find her space arranged neatly and all her clothes placed neatly inside the wardrobe.

A small smile appeared on her lips.

“ I guess she's a good roommate after all.”

Upon checking the time, her eyes widened in shock.

“ Oh my God! I'm late!” She shouted and rushed into the bathroom to take a quick bath.

Once she was done and ready to leave, she saw a note left by Rosabella.

‘ We are having art class today. I hope you wake up quick and don't miss the class.’

After reading through the note, Nicki dashed out of the room, running to class.

Upon getting to class, the lecturer was already in, and she clicked her tongue.

“ Shit!”

“ Who are you and why are you late?” The lecturer turned towards her, his face stern and had no trace of smile in it.

“ I'm a transferred student. And I'm sorry for coming late.” She muttered, and the lecturer looked at her for some seconds.

“ Get into the class.” He ordered and Nicki smiled slightly.

“ Thank you.”

She found a seat close to a guy who was laying his head on the desk, despite there being an ongoing class.

Nicki straightened her back as the stares and murmurs increased with each passing second.

She felt like shoving her fingers into their eyes so they could stop staring, but she had to control herself.

Soon, the lecture was over and the class became chaotic.

“ Hey,” the guy who was laying his head on the desk, said, a small smile playing on his lips.

“ Hi.”

Nicki kept the greeting simple and didn't give the guy any chance for further introductions.

All of a sudden, a female student shouted from the hallway, causing murmurs to erupt in the class.

Nicki thought she was hurt or something, not until her next words.

“ The KARD are here!” she screamed on top of her voice.

“ I hope she takes some menthols to retrieve her voice after shouting so much.” Nicki muttered.

She brought out her headphones and placed them on her ears to lessen the noise.

All the females rushed out of the class including Nicki's roommate, Rosabella.

Among the female, only Nicki didn't rush out. She was in face not interested in any of that.

“ This college is definitely worse than Winter College. I don't just understand why a student in her right state of mind would think about boys, who are also students, all because they are handsome.” A scoff left her lips. “ Unbelievable.”

Soon, the screams were back to the class, and Nicki snapped her eyes wide open, only to see four demigods walking into the class.

“ I guess they are KARDS.” She muttered,. snapping out of her fantasy with an eye roll.

The last among them all turned out to be the Alpha Prince of Daven Pack.

Once his father, the Alpha retires, he will surely be the next Alpha of the Pack.

A frown settled on Nicki's face when the Alpha Prince began to walk towards her with the lady who had called her a motherless bitch, two days earlier.

Upon getting to her front, he leaned over her desk and whispered into her ear.

“ Be prepared. I'm a devil and I will be willing to show you to hell.”

He smirked darkly at her and walked over to his seat for the next class.

Ellie, Prince Killian's girlfriend, glared daggers at Nicki who simply rolled her eyes.

Just when Alpha Prince Killian wanted to take his seat, Nicki spoke up.

“ Thank you for the invitation. I'm willing to go to hell with you. I bet it would be fun.” She said aloud for everyone to hear.

Gasps, murmurs and whispers flew around instantly, but Nicki didn't mind, she was sending death glares at Prince Killian, who was just smirking continuously.
