Peace what is that? As long as I've been alive I've never known peace. I've always been expected of great things and to keep my head held high and be strong, but between you and me I don't believe any of that. My name is Aleana Rae daughter of Beta Alexander Rae of the Sahara blood moon pack, my mother Christina Rae died when I was 6 years old and ever since then home hasn't felt like home. It's my 18th birthday and I'm dreading it, only because I know in 20 minutes I will be on my way to the hell on earth they call high school. Don't get me wrong I love school just not this one, Wolfsmanner high school was the bane of my existence, no not because of the teachers or the work but because of one specific 19 year old prick who I happen to have to interact with in and out of school, Shade Andrews son to my Alpha  Eric Andrews. Shade had never really paid any attention to me until this past year when he was 18 and I was 17. It was almost as if over night on his birthday i became his new infatuation. It's been a year and he still is cruel and cold to me as if I ran over his pet hamster or something. It wasn't until just last month though that he started to make sexual comments towards me about my appearance and how I dress. Shade Andrews is about 6 foot 4 while I stand at a 5 foot 7 small frame. He has longish black hair and bright blue eyes with snake bite piercings and tattoos that cover his arms and chest, he is toned and muscular as the future alpha should be and scares more then half of the men in the pack. While myself have long black hair that reaches my waist and hazel grey eyes, my nose is pierced and so is my lip, for me being short I'm fit and have a small waist and according to my friend Alana have a body that have men howling when I show it off. Which I don't ever do. Today is Monday morning and the sun is just breaking through my window, I yawn and jump out of bed and head for the shower as strip out of my night wear and get in the hot water runs down my body and engulfs me in steam and I groan as the muscles in my body relax and I sigh. I wash my hair and body and brush my teeth and jump out the shower and get dressed into a Purple sundress that use to be my mothers before she passed. My dad says I look just like she did when they were kids and it warms my heart knowing I still have something to remind me of her. I throw on My purple flats to match and brush my hair putting it in a ponytail to better handle it and do my makeup with just simple mascara and eyeshadow and lips gloss and I sigh as a strand of my bangs fall down but it actually looks cute today. I shrug and walk down stairs grabbing my car keys and a apple as I go to leave I yell to my dad who is in the kitchen about to leave as well.

" Love you going to school!!!!! Bye!!!!" He chuckles, and shakes his head as I run out before he can reply. 

as I pull into the parking lot I see none other then a smirking arrogant prick leaned on his sports car right next to my parking spot and I internally groan. I park and get out and shake my head as he walks towards me. 

"Not today Andrews" I say with irritation evedent in my voice. 

"ouch I just wanted to say happy birthday leana" he says playfully while calling me my nickname.

"why do I not believe that to be true, ugh what do you want really Shade I'm not wanting to be bugged today." I continue to walk towards the school doors and I know what your thinking, and no it's not true, when a she-wolf turns 18 they find there mate on a full moon not just randomly after they hit the age of getting a mate, so sorry to ruin it but no luck today. I feel his giant hand grab my arm stopping me from walking and sigh as I look at him, "yes?" He smirks and pins me to the outside wall of the school as everyone was already inside in the halls. 

"Maybe I want you all to myself for your birthday and finally take that virginity of yours you've been protecting" he growls softly into my neck and I cringe and shove him off. 

"not a chance Shade I'm saving myself for my mate on the full moon not for a cruel asshole like you!" I growl and storm inside as I walk to my locker and grab my books and I sigh. Alana then pokes my side and smiles making me smile. 

"happy birthday bestie!!!!" She jumps up and down. Alana is 5 foot 5 and gorgeous, she is our packs Gamma Ashton Crays daughter, she is 18 older then me by a month with long strawberry blonde hair and bright green eyes and pail skin with freckles and even though she says I'm the pretty one she doesn't see how many guys drool over her everyday. I giggle as she hands me a card and bag. "thank you Alana you really didn't have to" she smiles and nods. "Yes I did the Fall formal is in 5 days and on the night of the full moon so yes this is what your wearing no arguments!" She giggles and runs off and I stand there stunned. I hadn't realized how close the next full moon was and I didn't know the fall formal was the same night. I sigh and open the bag to see a gorgeous pair of black and purple heels and a small box that I open to find a matching purple earring and necklace set and I smile loving how she remembers my favorite color and I open the card seeing a picture of the ball gown she got me that was black and purple ombré and I gasp at how beautiful it is. I put the gift away in my locker and smile as I walk to my class just before the bell rang. The rest of the day flew but in a blur I sigh as I get home and see a note from my dad 

"had patrol with the alpha I hope you had a great birthday honey see you later tonight order you some food, love dad" I smile softly and grab the 100 he left me and order some pizza and turn on the tv. Tonight was gonna be a long night.
