Lucas couldn't shake off the feelings of unease as he left Lorenzo at the bar. He needed time to think, to process everything that had happened. Maria's revelation had thrown him off balance, and he didn't know what to do.

As he walked into the house, he was greeted by the cool air coming from the Air conditioner. He took a deep breath, trying to clear his head.

"Lucas, wait!" Racheal called out, walking towards him.

He turned to face her, wondering what she wanted.

"What is it, Mom?" He asked, trying to sound calm

"Where have you been? I've been all over for you." Her voice was laced with concern.

"I've been out with Lorenzo. Is there any problem?" He asked impatiently.

"It's actually about Maria."

"Mom, I don't have time for this please." He said, walking away from her.

"Lucas, listen to me. Maria is carrying your child. I know you are upset but this pregnancy changes everything. You can't just abandon her now." Racheal said, her eyes filled with concern.
