Lucas POV

Lucas pulled her close, holding her wrist tightly, “Where is my money?” He growled, his grip was painful which made her wince in pain.

Maria stood transfixed, unsure of what to say and do.

“I-i used it Lucas. I used it all. I'm sorry.” Maria stuttered.

Lucas let out a sigh, obviously angry. He grabbed her, shaking her violently.

“And you made me blame Scarlet. You made me blame her and accuse her of stealing my money. You've ruined my life ever since you came back.” He snarled.

Rachel and Chloe rushed inside, dragging Lucas away from Maria.

“Stop it Lucas. You don't have to be so violent towards her, even though I know what she did was so wrong.” Rachel said.

Chloe shook her head, “Maria! Lucas had never been a miser. He always gives you money every time you ask for it, why did you have to steal from him?”
