Natasha's POV

It was past nine in the evening when the driver finally pulled into the driveway of my house after a long drive.

The moon perfectly doing its job illuminated brightly in the sky as the cool breeze whispered through the trees.

The silence of the night, a stark contrast from the chaos in my mind. The only noise heard in the environment were that of chirping crickets.

Still lost in thoughts of the turnout of today's event, I stared out the window, replaying the events of the day in my head.

I was so welled up with my thoughts that I didn't hear the driver's voice until the third time he called out to me, his voice ringing loud through the silence of the car as he honked the horn.

"Hey ma'am?" he said, his voice harsh and impatient as he spoke, "Are you alright? I have been calling out to you for some minute now."

“Is that why you want to break my ear drums?” I snapped, my eyes spitting fury immediately I turned to face the driver.
