The entire city of Estburg had turned into a slaughterhouse.

Those who came seeking trouble now lay lifeless on the ground, becoming corpses themselves.

Alain was like a demon emerging from the deepest pit of hell, reaping one soul after another. Determined not to let Eden stain her hands any further, he moved so quickly that his enemies couldn’t even react.

Despite this, he didn’t feel tired. He didn’t pause to catch his breath; he just kept on killing.

Horace, Caelus, Jonathan, and everyone else could only stand there, silently witnessing the carnage.

Eden looked at the tall figure. Her vision seemed blurry.

Alain returned from the piles of corpses and picked up his blazer. He then held Eden tightly, his voice gentle. "Let's go home."

Eden raised her head and looked at him. "Alright."

Horace then drove Alain and Eden back home, while Caelus stayed behind to handle the aftermath.

Due to Peter's status, he stayed and went directly to the funeral home.
