After a long time, Eden took a piece of white fabric and gently covered Sofia.

Eden smiled bitterly. "Death... it's freedom, isn't it?"

Suddenly, she paused. "But no one has the right to steal your life from me!"

Eden turned and opened the door to the operating theater.

When Alain saw her emerge, he glanced inside. The white fabric stood out starkly. He narrowed his eyes, wanting to console Eden, but he didn’t know how.

Eden pulled her cap down and looked at Caelus, who had just returned after taking Talia home.

"Caelus, can you please take care of my grandmother's funeral," she asked, her voice faint but steady. Her face remained expressionless as she spoke.

Caelus and Horace's expressions both darkened. They wanted to say something but couldn't.

After a while, Caelus took a deep breath and nodded. "Understood."

"Thank you."

Eden then turned to Alain and asked with a smile, "Alain, may I borrow your power?"

She beamed, almost like the sun breaking through clouds as the flow
