I held my phone up to Felicia. "See for yourself."

She reached to grab it, but I smirked. "Even if you take my phone, I have backups. If I report this, Derek will go to prison. If you don't want that, sign the papers."

Let's see how deep their love really was. What was more important, money or true love?

Derek clung to Felicia, pleading, "Felicia, please sign it. I can't go to jail!"

Felicia hesitated. "But if we do this, we won't get any money."

"It's fine if we don't get the money. But if I go to jail, my whole life is over! Can you really stand to see me behind bars for two years?" Derek asked.

Felicia looked into Derek's teary eyes, hesitated for a moment, then took the document from my hand and signed her name.

I grinned when I saw her signature. If she thought she was getting her hands on the money I worked hard for, she could think again.
