“Okay,” Lyn replied.

Arianna alighted from the car, crossed to the right side of the road where Brian was, and stayed on his tail, she was careful enough not to catch Brian’s attention.

They had been walking for a few minutes and Arianna was starting to get tired “Is this the part where I say I warned you?” Primal said to Arianna.

“And is this the part where I remind you to mind your business?” Arianna snapped inwardly at Primal.

“But where exactly is he heading, we’ve been walking for minutes now,” Arianna said aloud in a low tone.

Brian stood still the moment Arianna stopped walking.

“What?”

“He heard me talk?” Arianna asked Primal.

“How am I supposed to know?” Primal asked back.

Brian turned back slowly, and Arianna instantly turned back and walked as fast as she could, Brian remained on the spot for a few more minutes before he continued with his journey.
