“What does he mean by his work here is done?” Arianna asked Primal while staring at Brian as he walked out of the room.

There was no response from Primal, “Are you dead?” Arianna asked inwardly and still got no reply.

“What is it you wanted to say to me before Brian came in?” Brianna asked as she lay on the bed.

“It’s nothing Mum” she responded wearing a fake smile.

“You were right Mum, I didn’t want to fix lunch for me because of an issue I had with him,” Arianna said in a bid to stop Brianna from questioning her further.
