Walking down the hallway, dressed in a long black dress, Arianna, the dead Alpha's daughter, had a small and lifeless smile on her face. It was her 18th birthday but as she took the next step, she halted.

"Hmmm..." She heard someone moan and she froze. A few feets away from her was her lover's room.

Slowly, she took a step forward, and the moans from that room filtered into her ears.

Arianna could feel her heart shake, in fear. Her lips quivered as she took another step.

"Lucas! Harder!" She heard someone scream. The voice was incredibly familiar and Arianna's eyes widened in disbelief.

"No! It's not true!" She said to herself, not choosing to believe what was before her. Clutching her chest in fear, she moved closer and opened the door.

The squelchy sounds in the bedroom wafted into her ears. Her eyes widened in shock and her heart twisted in pain. The scene before her was damning.

Her lover was thrusting into her best friend, Alice, with so much speed.

"Lucas..." She called out, as a tear slipped from her left eye. Soon, a torrent of tears flowed down her eyes.

She then stepped into the room, with shaky legs. Her breath was heavy and she felt her heart skip, as he thrusted continuously into her.

"Why?" She called out and in the next second, he stopped and then turned to look at her.

He had a proud look on his face. Slowly, he pulled out of her and then stood on the bed. His rod was still dangling but then he wasn't ashamed.

"You want to know why I chose her over you?" He asked, with a smile on his face as he stepped away from the bed.

On the other hand, Arianna could not take the pain anymore. It felt like every step he took, he was stepping on her heart.

Her eyes dimmed and it was as if she was going to pass out, due to the immense pain she was feeling.

She had loved Lucas for as long as she could remember. He was her life and at a point, she could not do without him.

Arianna had trusted him and believed that he loved her as much as she did, but no, the reality came crashing on her.

In the next second, she felt his hand around her jaw. He held onto it, with a tight grip. His cum dripped from his dangling rod onto her face and she groaned in disgust.

Alice still lay on the bed, with a relaxed and sultry look in her eyes.

She looked at Arianna without an unremorseful expression and then said, "I thought you weren't going to talk to me! Always all over him."

As she finished her words she snorted and pulled the covers off her body.

"What?" Arianna asked, in confusion seeing her unashamed state.

She was more heartbroken seeing the friend she had trusted, treating her this way.

"I trusted you, Alice. Is this what I get for taking you in?" Arianna's voice shook as she asked. The tears that had seized, began to flow again.

Her heart churned in her chest as she shook.

She was starting to get weak.

Everything was just too overwhelming for her. Two months ago, her parents were murdered and she was dealing with the pain of their loss. And now, she was hit with another earth-shattering moment.

"Why?" Arianna asked as she fell to the floor, not able to withhold herself.

"Why?" Alice asked, with a smirk on her face.

"All because you are an entitled bitch! You do not deserve whatever you have!" She yelled, with anger and jealousy, in her eyes.

Lucas was by her side at this point and they lay naked on the bed, in each other's arms.

The sight was a painful thing to look at for Arianna.

Their bodies rubbed against each other and Lucas trailed his hands on Alice's body.

He caught hold of her breasts and sucked on them, to Arianna's dismay.

On the other hand, Arianna had not given her body to him.

She had been waiting for the night they would be officially mated but that wasn't going to happen anymore.

She could not believe that they would do this to her because of envy.

"If you wanted all that I have, all you needed to do was to ask!" Arianna yelled back, as her eyes were clouded in tears.

"Ahhhh!!" She screamed as she had to let go of the agony she felt. Her heart stopped for a moment and she felt like she was going to die.

Suddenly, Alice's wicked laughter rang out and in seconds, she was by Arianna's side.

Holding onto her chin, she said, "If I wanted your lover! Would you let me have him? If I wanted your wealth, your position, and your parents, would you let me have them?"

Her question caught Arianna off guard and she did not know how to answer. At the same time, she was struggling to breathe.

"Would you?!" Alice yelled, slapping her across the face. Her head whipped to the side and in the next second, she fell to the ground.

Deep down in Arianna's heart, she did not know what to say.

Her lover, wealth, position and most especially her parents were dear to her.

"How could I..." She started to say but then she suddenly felt a force around her neck.

She could not breathe anymore! She was being strangled! However, there was no hand on her neck.

"You can't, right? That's why I took all I could!" Alice said, with a sinister expression on her face. Her wicked eyes were focused on Arianna's neck.

On the other hand, Arianna's eyes widened in shock. Alice's words dawned on her and she felt the world crashing on her.

"You took my parents away from me? You killed them!" She said, with a gasp. Her heart shook tremendously and Alice burst into low chuckles.

Arianna struggled for life, she was livid. But suddenly, her body started to shake, involuntarily.

"And I will kill you too, and take everything that you own! Including your acclaimed powers!" Alice declared, with a loud laugh.

"No!" Arianna said, in a low tone. She realized she was going to die and she clawed at the ground, in a bid to escape.

However, her body could not move and she just had to await death.
