Serena POV:

I sat alone in the transport vehicle. We traveled all day and one night and almost only stopped when the car engine needed to rest. According to Marcus' calculations, we will be in the central city at dawn tomorrow. I did not join them in direct combat but retreated to logistics, preparing everything to care for soldiers injured in battle.

My heart beats fast when I think about the terrible wars that are about to take place.

It was still early morning, and we had arrived at the edge of the city center; it seemed earlier than expected. I looked around, and a feeling of familiarity and strangeness rushed into my mind. I am standing on the territory of Blue Moon, where I lived and grew up. Things have changed so much that I almost don't recognize the bustling and vibrant city from before. Currently, it is as silent as a dead city.

Marcus ordered everyone down on foot, secretly surrounded the city, and had an elite army sneak in from the sea to examine the situation.
