Chapter 42

Aliyah led me to an area similar to a gymnasium, where several groups were also divided up to practice. They don't seem to care about their surroundings, just focus on their world. Seeing them practice enthusiastically, I also feel excited. In the distance, I see some kids only about ten years old also participating in training. Their movements are graceful and agile, like a squirrel.

I looked at them blankly. It wasn't until Aliyah grabbed my collar and pulled me away that I was startled.

Aliyah pointed me to a board with clearly written rules of competition. I frowned, not understanding what Aliyah meant, but when I turned my head and saw Aliyah raising her eyebrows, I suddenly felt scared.

"Could you want me to participate in this contest?" I'm scared.

Aliyah nodded, her eyes unwavering. "It's considered a maturity contest for werewolves in Blood Moon; if you pass this contest, you're already a warrior. However, your journey seems much farther than other people practicing out there
