His door opened and when our eyes locked, we laughed.

“Last night was fun,” I uttered as I walked into his room.

“Of course, it was. You were drunk again and almost created a scene in the bar. Thank the moons I got you out as soon as possible.” He answered, sitting on the bed.

“You don’t have to tell me, I wasn’t totally drunk. I can remember the details.” I answered with a chuckle.

“Right.” He patted his thighs and signaled me to come closer. I bit my lips as I moved closer to him and sat on his thighs, facing him.

“Have you heard from Jonathan?” He asked, wrapping my waist with his arms.

“No. It’s a surprise that he didn’t text me after yesterday.”

“Well, maybe he got the message already. The earlier he realized, the better for him.” He responded, and I nodded in agreement.

“I’m not sure what to say to His Majesty if he asks me questions about him,” I uttered, and he sighed, resting his head on my chest.
