Chapter 25

Furi and Matt run hand in hand and together. While Jeff was left alone and ran in a different direction.

"Matthew!" screamed the women chasing them.

"You guys are with Jeff! and we'll take care of Matt." The leader's order to their group. Jeff is currently being chased by four women while Matt is being chased by three.

"Wait a minute, who are we running from?" Furi was curious about the young man with him.

"Stalker!" it responded to him at the same time pulling him inside a horror booth.

When they entered inside, the young woman almost held tightly to his arm and she was very afraid of clinging to the young man.

"Can we just go out again?" he said trembling as a smile appeared on the young man's lips and he looked at his hand on his arm.

"No way. I'm sure they're still out there looking for me." Matt responded weakly to him.

As they walked out of the horror booth, Furi was constantly screaming and yelling at everyone they passed. The young man almost laughed at him and even scared him more.

"I don't want to! Let's go home! Wuaaahhh!! Mom!" he shouted repeatedly but he just grinned at him.

After a while, they both came out and he almost sat down because of the fear he felt.

"Are you okay?" he asked the girl. He looked up at her and his eyes widened.

"Do I look okay to you? Out of the many booths we can hide in, you chose a horror one. Or what? Did you enjoy scaring me?" He said angrily to the young man with tears in his eyes.

"Threatening? wait, I wasn't the one threatening you there earlier, was I?"

"Ahh.. it's not. That's why you kept pushing me over there to the scary mannequins? Why, didn't you even leave me there alone with the chasing tyanak? If only I knew that this was going to happen , I wish I had just gone with Jeff. Maybe we could have escaped sane." After saying that, he stood up while wiping the tears from his eyes.

Matt didn't speak immediately and just followed him.

"Don't.. don't say that to me again." He suddenly said that shocked the girl and she stopped walking for a moment. She turned to Matt and he approached her.

"I don't want to hear from you again that you prefer to be with him, rather than me." He said in a deep voice and a serious face. He just passed by her and walked away from her without looking back.

The girl followed him from behind him with a trace of surprise on her face.

Why did he say that to me? Is he mad because I compared him to Jeff earlier? but, why would he be angry? so there is no intervening between the two of us. Voyage of the girl in her mind.

Matt stopped walking for a moment, so he stopped too.

Why did he stop walking? did he see the stalkers chasing us earlier? he wondered when the young man suddenly turned to him.

"Come closer." It was a weak command to him. He slowly stepped closer to Matt and stopped in front of him.

"W-why?" he said nervously.

"Sorry." He said softly as he looked in another direction and seemed to be avoiding her.

"Huh?" he wondered so Matt suddenly turned to him with two eyebrows meeting.

"Are you deaf?!" he said out loud which shocked the girl even more.

"Make it clear! You're not just whispering!" he shouted too.

"Don't yell at me, because I'm not deaf!"

"I don't know about you! Just find someone else to talk to!" he said and was about to leave but the young man immediately stopped him and held him by the arm.

"I said, I'm sorry." He said in a low voice. The girl heard that and turned to him.

"What is that again?" he promised lamely as Matt let go of him.

"Are you tripping me?" she said to him annoyed.

"No ah. Your voice is really weak. What are you saying again earlier?" he said smiling but he just scolded him and turned away.

"Hey! what's up? I didn't really hear what you were saying earlier." This is a promise to the young man.

"Enough. I don't want to talk to you anymore." He responded in a gentle voice while holding both of his hands.

"Come on! Say it. Promise, I won't tease you anymore." Furi said while still clinging to the young man's sleeve. He stopped walking for a moment and turned to the girl.

"I said, I love you." This response surprised him and he just stared in front of the young man.

"Huh? but.. that's not what you were telling me earlier." He said stunned while tapping her on the forehead.

"Ouch!" he just touched his forehead.

"So, you're really just fooling me and you heard what I told you earlier?" he asked but she immediately avoided him and suddenly turned away from him. Matt grinned and followed Furi.

"Wait for me!" he shouted at the girl who made her walk even faster.

On the other hand, where Jeff continued to run and escape from the female students who were chasing him, he suddenly fell down and just sat on the ground when he bumped into a beautiful Eri.

It currently has its own booth. Where he reads the fortunes of people who prophesy to him.

But with the force of its collision with the young man, the crystal ball he was holding also fell and broke on the ground.

"No way!" he shouted in slow motion while Jeff stood up and looked at him in surprise.

"Miss, are you alright?" he asked the girl but she ignored him and crawled closer to his broken crystal ball.

"There he is!" pointed at him when the students were chasing him earlier.

"Miss, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry and just send my condolences to your fish bowl." That's all he said to the girl and she quickly ran away. The students still chased after him and they just passed Eri like the wind.

After a while he stood up while carrying his broken crystal ball. He turned around and was surprised because the young man he bumped into earlier suddenly disappeared from his sight.

"Huh? where is he?" he said as he looked around.

"Extraordinary! He ran over me? Wow! That's hit and run, right? That man really prepared for me! He'll pay for what he did to my baby crystal!" he shouted with thunder and a strong streak of lightning.

After that he ran and chased the students chasing the young man.

Jeff turned around behind him for a moment and was surprised to see the woman he bumped into earlier who ran even faster, compared to the four witches chasing him.

Even they were surprised when it overtook them.

"Wait, who is that girl? Was she with us earlier?" student 1 asked his companions.

"Wait a minute, I feel like I'm swearing at him." Student 2 responded to him.

"Wait a minute, isn't she the girl we met earlier?" student 3 said and then they looked at each other.

"No. If I'm not mistaken she is Mama Mary." Student 4 suddenly said and they stopped running for a moment.

"What?! You mean he's the famous fortune teller at our school!?" student 2 said in shock to his friend.

"Correction, he's not just a campus fortune teller. But he's also the leader of the soda gang." Student 1 added to them.

"Are you the soda gang? Isn't that the same group that Matt encountered earlier?" student 2 was shocked and turned curious.

"Bingo." Student 4 responded to him.

After talking, the four of them decided to leave and leave Jeff alone, while the girl continued to chase him.

Jeff seemed to notice right away that they were no longer chasing him, so he stopped to rest while sweating and panting.

Just a few moments later, he suddenly looked up when he heard heavy footsteps on the ground. He was very surprised to see Eri suddenly jump towards him and saluted his long arms that smelled any time it would hit him in the face.

"Sapul!" said the girl when she stepped on the ground and just a few seconds later Jeff fell down and lost consciousness.

The girl approached him and smiled looking at him.

"Thank you, it's just mild." He said he turned his back on her and left as if nothing had happened.

"Bro! what happened to your eye?" Ernes asked Jeff as he walked into their classroom.

He stopped for a moment and looked at Matt who was quietly reading a book in his chair. He approached her and suddenly threw the book she was holding. Everyone was surprised and turned to the two of them.

"Bro, what are you doing?" Ernes asked him as he picked him up and held him by the arm, but the young man just pushed him away as he looked angrily at Matt.

"Pick up the book." Matt promised her weakly and firmly.

"Are you ordering me?" he said as he bent down and brought his face closer to the young man.

"Pick it up," he said. It again ordered him to meet the two eyebrows. Ernes immediately picked up his book and put it on his arm chair but Jeff just threw it again.

Matt almost smirked and turned to the book he was reading earlier. His attention turned again to the young man in front of him and he suddenly grabbed him by the collar.

"It's all your fault! If you hadn't pushed Furi that day, this wouldn't have happened to me!" He bit his lips and pushed the young man in his seat. Matt just grinned again while fixing his messed up uniform. Jeff just ignored her and turned her back.

"What really scares you? The fact that I took him from you or the one who did that to you?" the young man stopped walking for a moment and turned to Matt when he heard what he said.

He also noticed that their classmates were surprised by what Matt said and they seemed to be judging him.

"Looks like I know who did that to you." He added to him, so he quickly approached the young man and grabbed him by the collar.

"Stop it. I'm not happy with you anymore." He only whispered a promise but she just grinned at him. He let go of Matt again and suddenly walked out of their classroom.

After it left, Matt took a deep breath and stood up to pick up the book that Jeff had thrown to the window.

Trixie just followed him with a worried look on her face. He just returned to his seat as if nothing had happened while flipping through his book.

Meanwhile, on the other side of where Jeff was walking, he stopped for a moment when someone suddenly blocked his path.

He looked at her from her feet, up to her head. He was shocked to realize that the girl he met was Eri.

"Hey, you weak! I didn't expect to see you again." The girl said to him as he looked at her from head to toe and back. Jeff couldn't speak immediately and just clapped his hands together.

"So, you're the horse that kicked me?" he smiled knowingly at the girl.

"Wow! Your skull is really hard. Is that one black eye missing from your eye or do you want me to match it?" he said smiling at the young man.

"Well, that is if I let you." After he said that, he was suddenly greeted by a kick on the leg but he also quickly avoided it. The girl didn't stop him and kept throwing her fist at the young man's face but it didn't hit him.

Just for a few moments, he suddenly grabbed her by the arm and suddenly she fell into the young man's chest.

"It's not appropriate for women to use violence all the time. Too bad, you're still beautiful." Jeff smiled at him.

"I'm a fortune teller, do you want me to predict your fate?" he said but he just shook his head with a look of surprise on his face and looked at the girl again.

"You're a fortune teller? If so, what are your predictions about me?" he was curious. The girl didn't answer him, instead she just grinned and then kicked him with all her strength. Jeff almost screamed in pain and knelt in front of him while holding his most treasured weapon.

"You won't have any more children. That's my prediction for you." Eri told him with a triumphant smile as he turned his back on her. Jeff's gaze just followed him and even if he wanted to reciprocate or tweak his hair, he couldn't stand up and even move from his place.

"You will pay. You will see, you will pay for this insult you did to my dragon ball!" he said with a loud thunder and downpour of rain.

"Ays, it's annoying! Why is it raining now? When did I leave the umbrella at home?" Said Furi as he looked up at the sky and just ran somewhere to take shelter.

"Hey, it's really annoying!" he said and wiped himself with a handkerchief. Jeff was very surprised when he saw the girl and just stared at her silently.

"It's a good thing I have a handkerchief with me." He said as he bent down while wiping his wet leg.

Jeff felt even more nervous in his chest when he saw that the skirt he was wearing suddenly rose when the strong wind blew. His eyes almost widened in shock when he saw the underwear she was wearing and he quickly looked away from the girl.

"Ayy!" Furi shouted as he grabbed her skirt down.

After a few moments, he suddenly frowned and turned around. He was shocked to see Jeff kneeling there with one hand on the zipper of his pants.

"Aaahhhhhh!!" he just screamed loudly and backed away. The young man was surprised and suddenly turned to him.

"Wait a minute! ma.. you're thinking wrong!" Jeff said as he struggled to stand in his place

"You again!? I told you, you're a pervert! Don't come near me, or I'll really scream at you." This promise to the young man was very scary.

"Listen to me first, Furi. Whatever is going on in your mind right now, you are wrong. You don't understand me." He said as he walked towards the girl. Furi seemed shocked when he noticed that he was still holding the zipper of his pants and he thought that he was planning to show him Jeff's weapon.

That's why he was so scared that he just closed his eyes. For a few moments, he seemed to feel silence around him. So he opened his eyes again and noticed that the mischievous young man was no longer around him.

It was only then that he let out a deep breath and clutched his chest.

"Hey, I'm about to have a heart attack right? That man is really ready for me by the time I see him again." He whispered to himself while letting go of the nervousness he was feeling.

On the other hand, where Matt had just left their classroom to go to the library, he was stunned for a moment when he saw Furi standing near their classroom.

He just grinned and looked around them.

"What is he doing here?" Matt asked himself as he looked at the girl standing to one side.

"Hey, what time will it stop raining? When can I go back to our classroom?" Said the girl as she looked up at the sky. As Matt walked slowly towards her and stopped behind her.

"Will there be a rainbow today?" it was curious when the young man suddenly covered his eyes. Furi was shocked and couldn't move.

Who is that? who is behind me? can't that be the pervert again? he's really ready for me now! sailing the girl in his mind. Thinking that Jeff was behind him and covering his eyes, he suddenly punched him hard in the stomach. So he let go of her and fell to the floor writhing in pain.

"Did you think you could single me out!?" he said as he turned to the young man sitting on the floor. But he was shocked when he realized that it was Matt who hugged his back and covered his eyes.

"Matt!" he shouted and worriedly approached the young man.

"I'm sorry, does it hurt? Why did you suddenly appear behind me?" he said but Matt couldn't speak and just held his stomach while his head was bowed.

"Sorry, really sorry." What he repeatedly said in his mouth, he sat down in front of him and watched the young man.

Is he crying? hey, that's minus 90 points for him now Furi. The girl whispered in her mind.

"I'm sorry, don't cry. If you want, just get back at me. Go ahead, just punch me or whatever will make you feel better." He said when he suddenly grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to him. Furi's eyes widened when he suddenly kissed her on the lips.

(Furi's POV)

It was my first kiss. My dream of being kissed by a mighty Matteus Xenos suddenly came true in an instant.

I've had a crush on him for over two years. My room is almost full of his photos. No matter where you turn or look, all you see is his face.

Starting from the door, wall, blanket, pillow and everywhere else, everything is all about him. I am so dead to him. It's almost enough that I put my panties on his face as well.

That's why my father often hits me because of my rudeness and flirting with a man who doesn't even know me. "Wait a minute, what did I see?" I asked him but he didn't answer me and instead put the tablet in his bag.

"Umf- what are you going to say, Furi?" he suddenly turned to me.

"Kim, are you hiding something from me?" I asked him again but he just bowed.

"Omg! you're here Furi." Annie said and suddenly she came to me, along with her witch friends.

"Maybe, you've come to your senses now." Said Ashley who was right next to him. We just looked at each other and for a moment Annie brought her face closer to mine.

"Wait a minute, according to the expression on your face, it looks like you don't know about the current hot topic in the whole campus." He said smiling but I just raised an eyebrow at him.

"Seriously?" Ashley also grinned, when Annie suddenly clapped her hands.

"Well, that's great! so I can see your reaction face to face, after you see this." He said as he placed his cell phone in front of me. I was about to bow down when Kim suddenly grabbed it.

"What are you doing?" Annie said annoyed to him.

"Stop it! what you're doing isn't funny anymore!" Kim responded to them.

"Give it to her!" he shouted at the same time I turned to Kim and snatched the cell phone from him.

"Don't!" he said but I just scolded him. I almost dropped the cellphone I was holding when I read the f******k post they were referring to me.

That was a post about Trixie and Matt. Photos of the two of them happily together and obviously having a relationship between them.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You're too ambitious Furi. You see, you're nowhere near Trixie's average level. Beautiful, talented and most of all smart. That's the type of girl that would suit Matt, so don't even dream that he will like you too. You are not in the vocabulary of the upper classes. Stop, dreaming bitch."

It was as if the earth and the sky fell upon me from what I heard and learned. I just bowed my head and tears rolled down my eyes. I just held tightly to my skirt at the same time as my tears fell.

"Omg! are you crying? Guys, look at her crying!" Ashley said with a laugh as everyone looked at me and made their own comments, about me, Matt and Trixie.

Just stood up and ran out of the classroom. I wipe the tears from my eyes but I can't stop them from flowing. Until I stopped when I suddenly bumped into a wall.

My eyes were blurry because of the tears that formed so I didn't even notice what I was passing by. I didn't pay much attention to that, I just continued walking when suddenly someone grabbed my arm.

I was stunned again and turned to him. I saw Jeff. That's when I realized that I didn't hit the wall earlier but his chest.

"Let go of me." I yielded to him weakly, but he still didn't let go of me.

"I was just going to check if you already knew, but it looks like someone has already done it before me." He said but I just ignored him and walked away. He grabbed my wrist again and pulled me down the stairs.

I didn't say a word anymore and I just went with him quietly. I know where he will take me and he is the only one who always understands me.

We both arrived at a basketball court. There was no one there and it was very quiet. He took the ball in the ring while I just followed him.

"Do you know how to play basketball?" he asked me.

"Huh?" I said in surprise when he suddenly threw the ball towards me. Good thing I'm good at catching up, otherwise I'll be embarrassed again.

"Nice catch!" he said smiling. I just stared at him and I didn't know what to do with that ball, so I just let it go and turned around.

He chased me and held me by the arm.

"Where are you going?" he was curious.

"Just. Just let me go." I weakly responded to him. I was getting soft and I didn't seem to be in the mood to play with him either, so I decided to just leave. However, he still didn't stop me and blocked in front of me.

"Alright, that's it. When you beat me in basketball, I'll let you go out here on the court and I won't stop you. But when I win, you have to grant my three wishes." He said while his two hands were still clenched.

"Jeff, I'm tired and I'm not in the mood to fool around with you." I promised I just passed him. After a few moments, he suddenly ran and went to the main entrance and locked it.

Wait, does he have a key? I wondered in my mind as he ran to me again.

"Game!" Jeff said mischievously as he handed me the key to the lock. Because of that I was forced to play with him, even though I didn't really know how to play basketball.

I snatched the ball from him several times but his shoot score was still better. As for me, it's still a mess. He must have done it almost ten times and he seems really determined to win this game.

I stopped for a moment because I was panting and sweating profusely.

"Oh why, are you giving up? It's up to you, we'll be here until nightfall." He said smiling while I just looked at him.

"You can do it! The ball will always be yours." I said as he walked towards me.

"Okay to be fair, when you shoot five times I'll give you this key." He said and handed me the ball he was holding. I just smiled and took it. He just sat on the floor watching me.

I have to win. I need to get out of here. I whispered in my mind and then threw the ball in the ring.

"Nice!" he said while still clapping his hands.
