Fifteen minutes later, Serenity sat down outside the gate, enjoying the breakfast brought by the security guard – bread, oat porridge, and some side dishes.

This was the breakfast they were having in the mansion today. The guard had managed to secure an extra portion for her from the kitchen, a task he claimed was quite challenging.

"Madam, why don't you go home? Mr. Valor must know by now that you've been waiting here all night, yet he hasn't let you in. I don't think this is gonna work. Why not go back and wait at home? Mr. Valor will see you when he wants to see you," the security guard kindly suggested.

Serenity shook her head while taking a bite of the breakfast. "No, I'll wait."

She had a feeling that if she gave up and left, she might never get another chance to see him!

Therefore, what she had to do now was conserve her energy and avoid passing out from exhaustion. If she couldn't see him today, she might ask Mr. Knot to send her a tent so that she could set it up outside
