Chapter 4

I smiled slightly and said, "You heard me loud and clear, didn’t you? We’re done."

"Don’t be unreasonable. Once you say something like that, you can’t take it back," Elsa said and looked at me seriously.

She knew this was not something to be taken lightly. But since it was not happening to her, she was bold enough to throw it out there.

"I’m not taking it back. We’re really done," I said, firmly closing the door behind me to make my stance clear.

We were over.

It turned out that it only took a moment for the heart to turn cold. The next day, without looking back, I moved out of the apartment I had lived in for three years and returned to my parents' home.

My parents were cooking when they saw me coming in with all my boxes. Their first reaction was one of concern.

"Seth, did something happen? Tell us, we’ll help you. There’s no problem you can’t get through," they said.

In front of my parents, I felt like a child again. The hurt from yesterday finally turned into tears tod
