Elena’s POV

I grasped Daniel's collar, my fingers digging deep into his shirt. "Please, help me wake him up!" I begged, my voice cracking with desperation. "I can't be a murderer! Please, do something!"

Tears streamed down my face as I shook Daniel, my body trembling with fear and anguish. "Please, Daniel! You have to help me! I didn't mean to do it! I didn't mean to kill him!"

Daniel's face was etched with concern, his eyes filled with compassion. "Elena, stop! You're not a murderer! It was an accident!"

But I wouldn't listen. I was beyond reason, consumed by my guilt and horror. "No, no, no! I'm a killer! I'm a killer!" I screamed, my voice echoing off the walls.
