Elena’s POV

I slipped my phone back into my pocket, trying to shake off the unease that had settled over me. Daniel noticed my expression and raised an eyebrow.

"Everything okay?" he asked, his voice low and concerned.

I hesitated, unsure if I should share the mysterious call with him. But something about his kind eyes put me at ease.

"I got a weird call," I said, leaning in close. "Some unknown number. They want me to meet them at Riverview Park at midnight."

Daniel's expression turned serious. "What did they say?"

I repeated the cryptic message, and Daniel's eyes narrowed.

"We'll deal with it tomorrow," he said firmly. "Tonight, let's enjoy your party. You deserve it."

I smiled, feeling a wave of gratitude towards him. He was right; I couldn't let some mysterious caller ruin my special night.
