I'm Arabella Harrison,and seated at the other end of my room is my great-grandmother. , today I'm going to be presented to the white crystal goddess in order to be chosen and blessed as the next great white wolf and alpha of our pack.

Right now I'm only 12 years old,grandmother told me before she passed away that she and my mum had also gone through such stage when they were 12. she and great-grandmother had watched my mum become the chosen great white wolf and alpha over our pack . And now it's my turn, right now I do not have my mum here all my grandmother here to watch me but I do have my great-grandmother.

I felt someone touch my shoulder and immediately I look back"mother""I called.As usual after the death of my mother and and grandmother years ago, my my great-grandmother showered me with love and affection, afterwards I got used to calling her mother.

Being very young at that time, she was all I had. And I was told my mum died for a good cause, protecting her people. After losing my mother and grandmother, my great-grandmother had to build the power of the great white wolf again just for the meantime until I come of age to take over from her, I wasn't ready yet at the age of 12 I was only going to be presented to the white crystal goddess in order to be chosen and blessed but I couldn't wield such great power yet , until I turn 18, find my chosen mate and become an alpha.

" My child, are you ready?"she asked me while bending towards me in order to get a clearer view of my face."you look extremely beautiful, just exactly like your mother,I could remember the first day she was to be presented to the white crystal goddess,she had locked herself out that day and didn't even come out of her room,, she kept on crying, even your grandmother her mum tried her best to bring your mom out that day but she wouldn't come out. I had to sing her a song which her open up the door, I held her hands that day, together with your mother. Oh dear, the goddess truly knows how much I miss her". I could see building up in her eyes as she recalled such moment.

I smiled and hugged her boldly" you'll hold my hands too right?".

As a young child, people do say I'm actually so bold for my age, believe me it's actually not true, I also get shy, but try as much as possible to hide it.

" Yes my child "she turned and stood up to face the two young ladies styling my hair properly" do a great job ladies". They both bow their heads immediately.

As a child, I also wondered just exactly the amount of power and authority my great-grandmother wielded, just how powerful is she? I heard from some Friends my age that she wields a lot more power than I can ever imagine,that,they were also told by their parents.

With my dress getting ready ,I stood up and followed my mother ,she held my hand so tight and smiled at me.

Soon ,we got there ,the shrine of our great white crystal goddess,we Both took off our slippers and got in .

The shrine was surrounded with water , and at the left side, fire kept on emanating from a stone, no matter how much or how hard I think about it, it's unimaginably feels so weird, it's just nothing but a stone, just how come and just how possible is it for fire to emanate from it.

Like she could read my mind, she looked at me"today when you become chosen as a next great white wolf,all powers and secret will be gifted to you and immediately you turn 18 something marvelous will happen, not just to you, but to everyone in our pack, and when you're ready I'll be here to guide you" immediately she said this my eyes lit up in surprise.

" Really? "I asked with joy. She leaned towards me and slowly pecked me on the forehead.

But little did I know, that I was going to be a big curse to our people. At the front lead a white crystal which shone brightly and the statue of a great wolf painted white.just like I was told she looked extremely beautiful and just beside her where the statues of all other great white wolf of our Pack in their wolf forms.

I looked closely and I swear I could see my mother and my grandmother, and at that moment I missed my mum.

Great grandmother held me, and together we walked forward, she released her hands from mine and immediately sudden making some movement with her body .

" Come on dear I'll teach you the dance steps"hearing this I became more excited, this is been something I've always wanted so much to learn and now no finally I'll be given an opportunity to. I walked closer to her and slowly we began dancing together.

" The bells Ara ,the bells ,can you hear the bells ? It's time "she said and finally stopped. I know that my head confirming that I also heard the Bell.

She held my hand and together we finally walked out to go get me dressed.jusy outside people gathered , all dressed beautifully for this day , somehow I just felt so special.

Slowly,a young boy in white , held the crystal tight with his two hands and walked towards the crowd , seeing him , everyone immediately paved way and as he got to the middle he slowly and carefully dropped the crystal on a silver table . My great-grandmother walked me towards the crystal and everyone began whispering, I too noticed the fear in me .

As we got closer ,she suddenly knelt down holding her staff of authority with her ,she kept on shaking it and it made different noises . I knelt down with her , wearingmy little crown and white dress . Later ,she stood up and walked towards the crystal.everyone became quiet waiting for the next scene . 

As my great-grandmother stretched her hands forward waiting for a bright light to shine and locate me and my crown , surprisingly nothing happened. She did so again but still nothing happened, again and again,but still nothing happened. I just knelt down confused. Not only I ,but I could also see confusion in her eyes .

" You have been rejected". Her words nearly broke my heart's into pieces
