Chapter 5: His Mate?

Andrella's POV

I blinked my eyes several times and looked around only to find that all my siblings were looking at me with their worried eyes.

"What happened, Guys?", My voice sounded hoarse and I managed to seat straight on the.... couch? How the hell I landed on the couch!

.

"You fainted, Andy.", Ben replied.

.

'Fainted? Really?', I thought and started recalling the last incident which I remembered.

.

"Thankfully there was someone walk past the nearby forest and saw you laying on the ground behind or wild animals might have taken you with them assuming you as their meal.", Keith said and turned his head when I noticed a man standing behind him whose gaze was on me.

That's him.

I know him.

.

He was the same person whom I met in the forest and who was speaking nonsense.

"I came to say my console when I noticed her in the forest, laying lifeless.", He spoke and my brothers smiled at him.

.

"Thank you..."

.

"Cade..", He said and shook his hand with Ben. "Alpha Cade Black of Red Moon Pack.", He introduced himself while his eyes were intensely on me.

.

I couldn't understand his reason for staring at me like this until realization hit me. 'Could this possible that I was his mate? But fuck, I couldn't feel the bond until I am eighteen years old even though I was not a werewolf.'

.

I felt a slight push on my shoulder and I looked at Rebecca who was passing me a naughty smile. Don't tell me that she was thinking the same which I was thinking a moment before.

I tried hard not to blush at how intense his eyes on me.

.

"Thank you so much, Alpha Cade.", Ben thanked him again. "I apologized that I couldn't recognize you. I will start handling the pack duties from next year."

.

"Where are Mom and Dada?", I asked, releasing the fact that I fainted for a while and mom and dada were not here to check me.

.

"Mom and dad aren't here for a few days. Dad took mom for a vacation so that she could over her pain.", Mattew replied.

.

"So, until then you both are our responsibilities.", Keith added looking at me and Rebecca.

.

"Yeah...Yeah!", Rebecca rolled her eyes. "By the way brothers, handling all the guests and Alphas are also your responsibilities.", She reminded. "I am sure many of them would have to leave for their respective packs and many would be staying here. So, you have to bid half of them the goodbyes and arrange the rooms for the rest of the guests.", I proudly smiled at Becca. No doubt she would become an amazing Alpha in the future. Out of all the siblings, I and Keith were not werewolves. So handling packs and pack duties was never our pain in the ass. And among the rest of my siblings, Becca was the best.

"Thank you for reminding us, genius.", Ben pulled her cheeks.

.

"You better get a rest. We will handle the guest, okay?", Keith said and I nodded. "Alpha Cade, are you planning to stay or would leave tonight?", He asked. "Please don't my question, it is just to make arrangements accordingly."

.

"I will be staying here."

.

"Okay.", Keith nodded his head. "Please allow us some time. Until then feel yourself comfortable." Saying this, one by one everyone started leaving the living room, leaving me alone with HIM. I gave a small smile to Alpha Cade who was still staring at me without blinking his eyes.

.

"Have a seat.", I muttered slowly, gesturing him toward the sofa. But instead of walking toward the sofa, he started walking closer to me and sat on the couch, beside me.

.

"You okay?", He asked staring intensely.

.

I nodded nervously. I had never felt like before. "Thank you for bringing me home.", I thanked him and thought to questioned about his nonsense which he did in the forest but before I would have asked anything I heard something because of which I forgot what I was going to ask.

.

"Welcome, Andy."

.

...ANDY.....

The wind...It was...It was his voice? Immediately my eyes widened in shock and he noticed it.

.

"What happened?", He asked.

.

"Call my name again"

.

"What?", He frowned when I said those stupid words. Call me an idiot or anything but I wanted to find my answer which I was looking for.

So many people think of me as Psyco, let him think of me as Psyco as well.

.

"Could you please call me by my name?", I repeated my question in detail and saw his eyes recognized something but he perfectly hid his expression in front of me.

.

He smiled and finally called my name which I desperately wanted to hear. "Andy."

Moon Goddess!

It was his voice.

It had always been his voice.

Don't tell me that I was assuming this as well.

.

'Should I ask the same from him? No....he will think me stupid.', I groaned and hid my face with my palm.

.

"Andy?", I heard Alpha Cade's voice again but it was similar to that voice which I had heard all my life. I gasped in surprise when Alpha Cade touched my hand and pulled it down from my face. He caressed my cheek gently.

.

"Cade....", I moaned his name before I could have controlled my voice from escaping from my mouth. His eyes twitched with unknown emotions before he hid them. I felt embarrassed by my own actions. I lowered my eyes because of that but he being he, he raised my head slowly to meet his honey brown eyes.

.

Ahem...Ahem...!

.

I heard Rebecca's voice. I quickly moved back, maintaining some distance between Cade and me. Then I looked at Rebecca who was smiling evilly and then a man standing beside her. Even he had the same expression on his face.

.

"Brother.", He called out. Since I and Rebecca were female. So it was obvious that the word BROTHER was not for us.

.

"Barrett.", Cade spoke coldly without turning his gaze away from me. Moon Goddess! What's there on my face that he always stares at me like that.

.

"Alpha Cade and Beta Barrett, your room has been arranged. Please let me guide you till the room.", Rebecca said politely. Cade stood up and nodded at Rebecca's word. She started guiding the way and I stupidity followed them with lots of thoughts going on in my mind. I was busy in dotting all the things which happened today.

I was scared with the thought that what if it was really his voice in the wind.

"See you later, Andy.", I jumped a little when I heard Cade's voice on my ear and couldn't control my blush when he kissed my cheek.

I thought Rebecca was leading him toward his room but neither his brother nor Rebecca was near us.

.

He caressed my cheek again and looked at me with those eyes which were telling me that he didn't want to leave my side but he quickly walked inside the room in which Rebecca and Barrett were already there.

I released a hard breath that I didn't know I was holding until now.

What was that?

Am I really his mate? If yes, then why didn't he share this fact with me?
