Chapter 8: Face My Wrath

Cade's POV

Do hell with all the plans to reject my human bride. I couldn't do that. Call it our bond or anything but I didn't have the heart to reject this amazing soul. All I wanted to claim her now and here but I couldn't do that as well because claiming her as mine meant only one thing. I had to convert her like me, a spirit.

But I didn't want to kill her at this young age. She had a dream of studying further and exploring the world. I couldn't take it away from her. Moreover, It won't be easy for me to claim her as my bride because there was my father who wanted to kill my human. Plus in her world, her parents were the most powerful creatures, they would never give their daughter to me knowing her future that she would have to die just to be with me. Well, this was not the end of the problem, my father had already fixed my marriage with Vampire's King's elder daughter. Vampires wouldn't spare me for breaking the alliance. And Cherry on the top, my bride had three possessive brothers.

'But I am ready to fight with everyone if at the end of everything my prize is my human bride.', I thought but the biggest problem was still not mentioned above. 'Will my bride accept me for what I am and will she leave her family, siblings, her living body, and her world to be with me?'

I couldn't stop myself from staring at her. She looked kind of cute with her round chubby cheeks and her doe eyes. I didn't want to go on her sexy curvy figure because it was already perfect.

My bride was perfect and I was glad that I didn't reject her in the first place.

I liked the way she was eating her food without thinking of being fat because humans nowadays kept cutting their food for looks which made them thin like a stick.

'Cade', My father's angry voice roared in my ear. I sighed, realizing that he figured out that I was with my human bride. I had to talk with him and share my decision with him.

"Excuse me. I will be back in a few minutes.", I made an excuse in front of Andrella when she was busy glaring at me because I smartly tricked her with my answer and didn't answer her question clearly. I wish I could tell her that I loved her angry glare.

"Okay.", She nodded and I walked toward the area from where I could disappear into thin air to reach near my father.

"What do you mean that you want to reject your new marriage proposal? I am going to complete my rule over this world. Now, you have ruled this world for the next 500 years with your bride.", My father yelled in anger after hearing the words which I just told him.

"As I said, I want to pursue with my human bride which is perfect for me.", I replied calmly as much as I could. And there began our argument. Barrett was sitting between us, staring at how stubborn his brother and his father were, who were yelling at each other.

He knew how hard we both were after all we were father and son. It was always fun for him to see the two of us fight.

"You are my heir and you can't be with a mortal. I will kill that human bitch.", My father shouted and I growled loudly at him. He couldn't insult my bride and he definitely couldn't say anything about killing my bride. If there would be any other person or spirit around us then he/she would have run far away from us. "I will make your life miserable if you choose her.",

I smiled coldly before I knew this will happen if I chose my human bride as my soulmate. "Do whatever you want, father. I have made up my mind. I won't reject her at any cost." Barrett looked at us curiously to know what we were going to say next.

I started leaving from there because Andy was alone in the restaurant. She would be waiting for me but stopped near the door and turned toward my father. "And don't you even dare to hurt my bride or..."

"Or what?"

"Or you will face my wrath, father or not!!", Was my last word before I disappeared from there to enter the living creature's world, back to where my bride was waiting for me. The moment I reached back to the table where Andy was sitting. She narrowed her eyes and glared at me but unlike my father's glare. I found it cute. "What happened?", I asked to know the reason behind her angry mood.

She reached near her wrist and showed me the time. I shut my eyes because of guilt. I made her wait for fucking five hours. The time difference between my world and her world was quite different.

"I...", I was about to apologize when she picked her bag and started leaving from there without sparing a glance toward me. I walked behind her to calm down my bride's anger. "Andy..."

I held her wrist and pulled her close to me. She slapped at my chest angrily. "When you have something more important than me why are you wasting your time with me, Cade?", She looked hurt and ignored. Unfortunately, I was the one who made her feel like this. I wish I could tell the reason behind my absence.

"I am sorry, Annie", I whispered against her ear.

"Keep your sorry in your pocket. I don't want it.", She glared at me.

.

"Something important really came up otherwise I wouldn't have disappeared like that.", I said, hoping her anger could come down but she continued to glare at me. I looked closely into her eyes, her blue eyeball was turning in...Red? "Your eyeball is turning a deep shade of red?", I said more like said asked. Immediately she closed her eyes and opened her eyes.

What the hell! Her eyes were blue again.

"I have some issues with my eyeballs. That's why the treatment of my eyes are going on.", She immediately calmed down. Before I could have asked any other question related to it she quickly changed the topic "Now, let's go. I will give you the best sightseeing that this pack has.", She explained in an excited tone. I left that topic after observing her excitement. But I couldn't help myself from wondering what kind of issues she had with her eyes.
