Thirty-second Chapter

It was a Saturday. Rain was at the gym with a couple of guys, David had a weekend with his beloved wife's family, one that he strongly expressed his displeasure about having to be part of, and I was on my way to the park, to see Devin. Now before you cuss at me or call me a whore, which doesn't actually change again so go ahead, he called the night before and introduced himself in the most gentlemanly way possible. According to him, he just called to see how I was doing. After a casual conversation laced with a few chuckles here and there, he offered to take me to lunch. I did refuse, at first, but he convinced me that there was no motive behind it. It would be just lunch. A friendly lunch. Plus, my Saturday was going to be spent in my pj's until Rain came so I wasn't doing anything wrong.
