Long time no see

Leo’s POV

“My darling!” Mum squealed as I entered the house, and I smiled before leaning in to give her a warm embrace.

“How are you doing, ma?” I asked, still enclosing her in the hug. “I missed you.”

“I've been well,” She shrugged, pulling away from the hug to gaze at me, a smile twitching her lips. “And I missed you so much more. You look slimmer, did something happen? Have you been eating well at all?”

“Nothing happened, ma, and I've been eating well,” I fondly huffed, as she caressed my cheek, worry prominent in her eyes. “Where's dad by the way? I don't see him.”

“Dad is in his study,” Mum began to say and smiled as dad walked downstairs, as though he had sensed that I had arrived.

“Leo,” He said. “What a great surprise. How are you?”

“I'm fine, dad,” I replied, as he drew me into a hug before pulling away and giving me a firm slap on the shoulder. “How about you?”

“Well, I'm also in good health,” He said, wrapping an arm around mum.
