FELIX.
Today seems to be an amazing day for me. My mood seems to have escalated from this morning. I’d say it’s because of the terrific event that happened in my room. And happening right here again.I currently have my tongue shoved down my coworker’s throat. A very hot coworker. Hot as in, she’s fresh, and a brunette with green eyes plus a body to die for.Luck must be on my side because when I arrived this morning, she just grabbed my hand and led me here. Okay, maybe that’s not all that happened, but I confirm there was a minimum done on my part. She got hired a few days ago, and I’d admit I had my eyes on her, but I hadn’t approached. When I arrived today, I only sent her a wink with a very polite greeting and seemed like she was onto me too, cause the next break we had; she grabbed my hand and pulled me away faster than I could turn.“You’re so good at kissing.” She lauds breathlessly as she removes her mouth from mine to catch some air in her lungs, her chest heaving up and down. I smile and wrap both hands around her waist tightly, bringing her body into mine, and I can feel the sound of her fast heartbeats against my chest.“You aren’t so bad yourself. Quick to follow too.” I return the compliment and she smiles, her eyes glinting as she says, “That’s because I like you.”“Hmm.” I drop my head forward and let my lips graze over hers. She opens her mouth, waiting for me to take her lips. But I don’t. Not just yet. I tease her first, and when she whines in protest, I laugh and give her ass a small squeeze.“Come on. We don’t have enough time.”“You want to? Right here?”She nods, seeming cool with it, and I fail to hide the astonishment in my voice. “Damn. I think I might have misjudged you. I mistook you for a good girl…” She opens her mouth to speak but when I remove my hands from her waist and spin her, the sound that comes out of her mouth is a yelp instead as I press her against the wall with her hands pinned to her back. I press my chest to her back and lower my mouth to her left ear, “Turns out you’re a bad one. Just exactly my type.”“Felix…” she moans as I ground my hips into her back. “That feels so good.”“Wait until I’m inside you,” I murmur boastfully. I use my left hand to lift her folded hands to the wall above her head while my right hand feels up her ass some more before I start to raise her skirt.“Felix?” A much softer voice than the one I’ve been hearing before me calls as I raise her skirt midway, halting when the voice sounds familiar. I bring Sasha’s skirt down but don’t unpin her hands from the wall as I turn to see who’s interrupted my sweet time.A sigh leaves my lips, and I let go of Sasha’s hands before moving a step back when I come in contact with brown eyes. Within a second of staring into her eyes, I can already sense the judgment and what else is that? Revulsion? Typical of her.“Brynn.”Sasha moves from the wall and whispers to me. “Who’s she?”“Go back to your desk,” I whisper back without removing my eyes from Brynn. Her nose is scrunched the way it always is whenever we’re within the same vicinity, which happens to be often. Enough for me to read what it means.“Oh, you want me to…. How about…”I remove my eyes from Brynn and send Sasha a tiny smile. “We’ll continue this later. Just need to take care of this.” She nods and then excuses herself from the room. When I confirm she’s gone, I lean against the wall with my arms crossed to my chest. “Well, if this isn’t the last place I’d expect to find you.”She scoffs as she starts to move. One step. Two. Three. Four. Then she stops. Putting just enough distance between us. “I was going to wait upstairs for you when the man said you’d be back from your break soon, but being familiar with your tactics, I thought it’d be the complete opposite and guess I was right.”“What are you doing here, Brynn?” I ignore the bold sarcasm in her voice and ask instead. She tips her chin up slightly and crosses the hand that’s holding her no doubt expensive purse over her chest. “To speak to you.”“About?”The muscles in her face tighten, and her gaze turns glaring. “You need to freaking stop.”I arch a brow. “I’m not following? Need to stop what?” A second and then I grin. “Oh, that? How’s that any of your…”“You need to stop teaching Ash bad stuff. You need to stop influencing him with your terrible habits.” She spits, and a chuckle leaves my mouth. “Excuse me?”She takes another step forward now. “I know it was your fault. It’s because he’s friends with the likes of you…” The derogatory tone she uses when she speaks to me—the few times she does—is one thing I dislike about her. Apart from her shiny, rich, spoilt brat attitude. “He’d have never done that to me. I know it.”I push myself from the wall and slip my hands inside my pocket as I stride toward her without getting too close. “So let me get this…” I start as I take another step. “You came all the way down to this place because you think I’m the reason your boyfriend cheated on you?” I lift a brow and when she doesn’t give me a response, I laugh.“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” I whisper under my breath with a heavy drop of my chest.“It’s expected.” She starts to speak again. “It’s what you do. You have no dignity. You jump from one girl to the other. Take, for example, the girl I caught you here with differs from the girl you were with last night, so why’d it be a surprise to think Ash might have learned a few tricks from you? Or maybe you were the one who persuaded him to do it, considering who and how you are.”Considering we’ve never spoken this much before, she sure has a lot of stuff to say to me.“How long have you been waiting to let those out?” I smirk and she swallows, looks away for a second, then looks back at me with her gaze toughened even more. “And how did you know I was with a different girl last night? You didn’t see her before you—”“Cause I was there last night. In the living room with your best friend when your drunk self waltz into the room with a red-haired hanging on your arm and your clothes untidied.” She says irritably, and I once again do not miss the judgmental tone.“You must like me so much.”She snorts. “What?”I raise my left shoulder in a shrug. “It’s alright to admit it. I’m pretty irresistible, aren’t I? Which is why you couldn’t help yourself with knowing those details. Keeping tabs on me?”She finally raises the other hand that’s been swinging by her side and crosses it over her chest with the left one. “No. I just have an excellent memory. And anyone would remember that state you were in. You were almost…” One more step forward, and she’s closer than ever now. I can feel the intensity of her look from here and for a second, my gaze shifts from hers to scrutinize the rest of her face. I’m only able to take in how sharpened her brows are and how flawless her skin is—she has absolutely no pores. Even her straight button nose looks shiny. And… and I don’t let my eyes wander further than that. I meet her eyes just the second she lets go of the last word. “Almost pitiful.”That does it. If there’s anything I hate the most in this world, it’s someone else feeling pity for me, and I swear she would have regretted those words if she weren’t a girl. And not just any girl. My best friend’s girl.“Alright. I think I’m done standing here and listening to you insult me.” I say as I start to move from her, but she doesn’t even let me get away. “Insult?” She chuckles. “Why are those insults? It’s who you are and stuff you’ve done, and I thought you were proud of them. Why? Does hearing them from another person suddenly make you realize how fucked up you truly are?”I swear to fucking God…Lord, help me have this patience.I riff in a heavy breath and let out an even heavier one before I turn back to her. “Listen here. Ash is my friend, but I could never have any influence over him. If anyone was gonna have any influence over the other, it’d be him over me. So no, I did not teach nor persuade your boyfriend to cheat on you.” Her gaze eases only by a fraction, almost impalpable, and I continue. “And I might be an asshole with no dignity or a man whore, but if I were in a committed relationship, I’d never cheat. Cause taking that decision means being willing to sacrifice every other thing.”Her lips parts, but no word comes out, and she closes it again.I take a step back and let my eyes run over her, up and down, before settling on her gaze. “Though standing here and listening to you now, I can understand why he cheated.” I make sure she doesn’t miss the mockery in my voice like I never do hers. “Whiny thing. Whiny little things like you are the worst.”The satisfaction I feel after seeing the anger in her eyes doesn’t last quite well when she uncrosses her arms and moves faster than I can blink. An unconsenting gasp leaves my lips as my head whips to the side from the force of her hand, and the sound of her palm connecting to my cheek echoes across the room. She slapped me. And for a fucking second there, I almost swear she dislocated my jaw.“Fuck you.” She voices harshly, rage pouring into her voice. “Over and over again, you bastard.” That’s all she spats at me before she starts to leave and I groan as I force my head to follow her movement. Her ruthlessly snatching her purse from the doorknob is the last thing I see before her frame disappears.“Fuck.” I moan as I rub my cheek, the skin hot against my touch. She left me with an almost dislocated jaw and a bruised ego.How did she manage to exert that much force with just a slap? Aren’t rich girls like her usually weaklings always in need of a knight in shining armor? And her mouth was sharper than I thought. She knew the right words to say to pierce through my heart—almost like she had been waiting for this moment to crush me.Not crushed through. But totally bruised.FELIX.I was wrong when I said today was a good day for me. Thanks to Brynn Addams, I no longer feel that way.But I plan to turn things around. I’ll not let her successfully ruin this day for me. It started nicely, and it’s got to end on a pleasant note too.A smile is on my face as I park my bike by the building, the echoes coming from inside promising me the fun I’d have—one I’m here for. After chaining my bike to the ground, I throw the keys inside my back pocket and proceed to enter the building with an even bigger smile. After one glance down my body, the curtains of the room of fun are opened to me and I enter with an enthusiastic heart and my hands inside my pocket.I rock my head to the music that’s coming from the upper floor as my eyes try to adjust to the darker lights. Once I’m adjusted, my gaze roams across the room in search of the special girl who’d take away my frustrations tonight. All I see is bodies. Hot bodies sliding against each other. Wrapping. Colliding. Touch
FELIX.I’m ashamed to say she tugged at my heartstrings with those words. And not only because she stands there, in her messy state, with those brown eyes fixated on me as she waits for a response to her words. And despite the slight vulnerability I thought I heard when she muttered those words, I see no such thing in her eyes. She’s just so good with her emotions, isn’t she?“What?” I say just to taunt her, wanting her to repeat those words. But it’s Brynn Addams. I’m sure she’d rather wish the ground open up and swallow her before she let that sentence leave her mouth for a second time.“You heard me.” She replies with a hiss, that stoic expression back on her face and I smirk as I take the one step I had taken down back up. “I did. I just want you to repeat them.”She unfits her hands from the sides of her dress, and for a second, I thought she was contemplating it, but… “You can leave.” She nods to the exit before she turns and starts walking back to her table. I shake my head and
FELIX.I wasn’t wrong about the hell of a night. And I hate that.Brynn Addams is more than I thought she was. When I laid my eyes on her for the first time, it didn’t take more than a glance to know she was no ordinary girl. She screamed luxury and exuded such elegance I’d never encountered in my entire life. Her poise, stance, walk, appearance. Every single detail about her from that moment told me she was one of those girls who could get everything they wanted in the world with just a snap of their fingers. Not only did she bleed that rich and powerful aura, but she was also beautiful. Angelic beauty. The kind of beauty men go to war for. Her black long hair shone brightly against the warmth of the earth, and the features that framed her face were enough to captivate even the strongest of men. However, that Brynn Addams is completely different from the one who’s a few feet away from me.It’s the alcohol, I can tell. She drank more than I did, and I’m now seeing a side to her I’ve n
FELIX.Every word Asher said to me that day was true. And I hated that.I hate that he knows me so well. I hate that I had let him know me that well and he had used that knowledge against me.But there have never been truer words spoken.I’m a lowlife. I’ve always been. It started with my family—one I don’t have, nor have the luxury of knowing. My parents cared less about me than they would a stray pet you find by the corner of the street and there were days that used to hurt and I would wonder why they ever tried with me if they never planned on giving me even the tinniest of their love and parental affection. Those days are gone now; I’ve accepted I’m a lone wolf in this world and my existence in the world had been a miracle–nothing more.I left home ages ago and found my way into this town. That’s how I met Ash. He was the first person to show me kindness, and I don’t just mean in this town—in my entire life. He saw me struggling and invited me into his home without asking for anyt
FELIX.I resist for a moment, not really wanting to be here yet, but I’ve overstayed my welcome at the boxing arena and if I stay another night, I’m pretty sure Lemuel would sign off my membership.Which is why I don’t have any other choice than to be back here, the place I’ve been purposely avoiding for days. Not the place itself—a person.I step inside the house and instantly want to step back out when the first sight that welcomes me is that of Asher on the sofa in the living room with one hand spread over the arm of it and the other holding the TV remote, boringly switching through the channels. However, before I can take action; his head whips back as if he senses me, and for a moment there, he looks like he couldn’t be any more relieved to see me.That’s funny. I remember him looking like he wanted my head the last time we were in the same room.“Felix!” He calls my name, the excitement in his voice not hard to miss. Unfortunately for him, I don’t share the same excitement, and
FELIX.Brynn doesn’t look the least impressed or threatened by the taunting tone of my voice. Instead, she raises a brow slightly and asks, “What’s it? As long as it’s a rational request.”Knowing what she means by rational, my lips curl into a small smirk and I clear my throat before I let out the words.“Go out with me.”She looks surprised for a moment there, her other brow also shooting up, as if that’s the last thing she had expected me to demand. And it probably should be for me too. I know I shouldn’t, but I just couldn’t help myself.“What does that mean?” Brynn asks as she glares me down. Realizing there’s a double meaning to my request, I’m quick to clarify. “I don’t mean literally.” I start. “You said you owe me because you used my time, so I want you to repay me with the same thing. Or is Brynn Addam’s time too precious to be wasted on a favor?” I try to hide the acrimony that pushes to sip into the last words with sarcasm.“It is,” Brynn responds without blinking. “My tim
FELIX.I’m sure the tension in the air can be felt by every soul in the room, and I can still feel Asher’s eyes on me. Something tells me the second I meet his gaze is the moment everything turns into ruins, so I don’t.“Hi.” I breathe as Brynn reaches my desk. She doesn’t spare Asher a glance even as I feel his eyes peel from my skin, and probably staring at her now.“Tomorrow. My place.” Brynn states what she’s appeared for, the words dropping in a monotone, and I nod once. “What are we—““Brynn.” Asher interrupts me and grabs Brynn’s shoulder. “What’s going on? Why are you here? What do you mean by those words?” There’s not a breath between his questions, and I see the anger that slowly takes over Brynn’s neutral expression. She doesn’t turn as she speaks, the irritation in her voice hard to be mistaken. “Take your hand off me.”Asher doesn’t listen. Instead, he grabs her other shoulder and forces her to meet his eyes. “I know you’re mad at me, baby—““Don’t call me that.”He sighs
FELIX. There’s a grin plastered on my face, refusing to be wiped off as I run my hands through my black curls, letting half fall over my forehead while the other half is swiped back. After arranging my hair, I smooth my hand down my jacket and hum in satisfaction at the reflection that stares back at me. I can’t remember the last time I was in a suit—I don’t think I’ve even ever been in a full one—but I sure love what I look like right now and I give myself a pictorial pat in the back for not making that rebellious random move to dye my hair red because I can’t imagine red eating harder than how my black hair compliments the rest of my fit. I look fucking delicious. I always do but I look even better in this fitted well-tailored suit that I can’t help but stare longer than necessary in the mirror just to admire myself. “Someone might think it’s your wedding.” I’m distracted from my self obsession and I chuckle at Lemuel who has his head popped through the bedroom’s door with the r
BRYNN.Dad’s gaze is harsh and threatens to unravel me as he keeps his eyes on me, unblinking. I gulp down my fear and force out an awkward laugh. "Guy? What guy, Dad? There’s no—" I stop speaking when he lifts a brow; a movement that tells me he isn’t convinced of the lies I’m trying to make up. I shut my eyes and lower my gaze. "I’m sorry. It was just a—""Who’s he to you?" He interrupts me and I look up at him. "You’ve never done this before. I know you aren’t cruel, but the boy must mean something for you to go through the trouble of threatening your principal just to save him."My brows furrow at his words, and I tilt my head. "What?""The boy you saved. Who’s he?" He repeats the question and my mouth parts as I try to grasp the sense in his words. When the realization dawns on me that it isn’t the one that’s hiding in my bathroom, he speaks of—technically the same person, but he’s speaking of what happened at school, not here—I nearly smile but hold it back."Oh. That." I mumble
BRYNN.Felix Wilder is especially gorgeous when wet.The shirt he has on clicks tightly to his abs and muscles, leaving very little to the imagination. Drops of water trail down his neck; they run along his hard biceps and drip down his fingers. Long strands fall down his face, hiding the corners of his eyes from me, but even with that, I feel the intenseness of his gaze when our eyes meet. He’s staring at me with that look again—the kind that makes my throat dry and my stomach flutter.Silence echoes around us as I swallow at emptiness, the smile dropping from my face at the nervousness that scratches my insides."Felix?" His name leaves my mouth in an almost breathless voice and I see his lashes flutter beneath the strands falling over his forehead. He pushes himself up higher to the edge of the pool, and his lips slowly part. "I just—I…" he stops and my palms press down to the floor, my toes curling in the heels I have dipped inside the pool.Felix doesn’t finish his words and I do
FELIX.She’s insane.Insanely beautiful and confident in what she wants. Her boldness makes me burn with more need for her and I sigh when she rolls her hips again, fucking herself on my fingers till she’s dripping all over the digits."Jesus, Brynn," I groan when she leans to the side, her lips brushing against my right ear. It’s just a scrape, but it makes a shudder roll off me and I shut my eyes, my free hand moving on her waist as my heart pounds in my chest.Brynn takes what she wants. Her hips continue to make punishing rolls that have my cock rock hard in my pants and when I feel the tip of her tongue melt against my earlobe, I get so fucking close to wetting my boxers and she hasn’t even done anything to me.But no. Not my boxers. I want to shoot my cum inside her and fill her with it. I want to see the look on her face when I finally give her what she wants, and I want to feel her walls clench so tightly and greedily around me when I attempt to pull out."Brynn," I put my han
UPDATE. Hello loves,Sorry. This isn’t a chapter update but an update of my schedule. So as many know, I’m currently trying to wrap up my stepbrother. With the massive updates I’m giving on that—because the readers have honestly been very patient with me and I don’t want to make them wait any longer than they’ve already done—and my day’s schedule, I end up having little time to write more chapters for this one. But I’m still trying. I don’t want to abandon either book and I definitely do not want to disappoint my readers because I know you look forward to every day’s update. With that said, I’ll still be updating this book. The updates will just not match my usual time which is every day after midnight, GMT+7 but they’ll definitely be up so always check from time to time. And if I miss any day’s update, please bear with me and know that I’ll definitely try to make up for that missing update when I upload the next one. Thank you so much for being patient and an update is definitely
BRYNN.My heart is pounding loudly in my chest and when I turn to look at Felix, he’s already staring at me. I look away at the obstacle we have ahead before climbing off his lap completely."Right. I’ll be back." I mumble to no one in particular before getting out of the car. The headlights flash even brighter when I come out of the car, as if mocking me there’s no way I’m sneaking Felix inside without Dad knowing.Still, I let my legs drag forward and stop when I reach the car’s right door where I know Dad usually comes out from. I place two knocks on the car window and wait. When there’s no response after a while, I lift my hand to place another knock, but it hangs in the air when the driver’s door opens and one of Dad’s men comes out."Miss Brynn. It’s you." He says, staying on the other side. I nod and straighten my back. "Dad?""Sir isn’t here."My brows furrows. "What?""He’s back at the office. He’s got some things to sort out, so he told me to leave."My heart leaps with joy
BRYNN."After a date, a guy usually leaves. Not go back with the girl. Especially to the girl’s home." I tell Felix when I climb out of the car. He smirks and pushes his helmet to his side. "We’ve arrived here anyway, so a waste to just turn back, right?""Not really. It’s not that hard to do. Just get on your bike and drive away. Quite simple."He frowns. "Come on, baby. I want to spend the night with you. You agreed.""I didn’t. You practically followed me here.""And you didn’t stop me." He claims, and I open my mouth to speak. I shut it again when I find no words. "See?"I shake my head. "It’s dangerous, Felix.""It’s not. You just have to sneak me into your room and we’re good." Easier said than done.I throw him another look before I step before him. When I wrap my hands around his neck, his free hand instantly reaches for my waist. "It’s risky.""We’ve taken risks. What’s one more?" He whispers against my lips when I pull in. I close my eyes to the feel of his breath on my lips.
BRYNN."Will you be doing it again?" I ask Felix after he passes me my ice cream, then grabs his seat and pulls it next to me so he can sit by my side rather than across the table. We’re in front of a small ice cream shop and hidden from the sun by the umbrella. I watch as Felix settles in his chair and takes a bite out of his ice cream. "I’m not sure. I won’t lie, though; it was more fun than I thought.""Didn’t the hits hurt?" I ask, and he shakes his head. "Not much. After the first one, you get used to it."I nod and we fall in silence as we slowly lick our ice cream—with Felix doing more biting than licking."He’s still standing right behind us," Felix tells me, nodding his head in the other direction, and my gaze follows to where Leo is standing a few feet away from us. Our eyes meet when he turns his head and his jaw is slightly tightened. He bows a bit—something I already asked him to stop doing—before he straightens up again and looks away from me."I told him to stay in the
BRYNN."Oh my god, you sneaky little thing!" I push at Felix’s shoulder and he moves back enough for me to get a clearer view of Jade. "Jade. Hey." I mumble with an awkward smile as I drop to my feet, pressing against the door and wishing I could find an escape without having to go through Jade’s confrontation. She shakes her head where she stands with her arms crossed to her chest and her gaze switching between me and Felix. "I knew it! I fucking knew it!" She exclaims as she comes closer, stopping when she reaches Felix."Jade. Don’t.""So you’re the reason, uh?" She cocks her head with a smile and I roll my eyes before wrapping a hand around Felix’s arm and pulling him back, away from Jade’s piercing gaze. "What are you even doing here?" No longer than the words leave my mouth, someone else clears their throat, alerting me of another presence in the room, and I look behind Jade to the tall, brown-haired guy standing alone.I smirk when I look back at her and she shrugs. "What? Do yo
BRYNN.I let out a long sigh of relief when Felix finally walks out of the room. He’s out of the janitor’s wear and he is absolutely gorgeous in his jeans and thin shirt with his hair a mess on his head.He looks surprised when he sees me and he walks up to me, taking two steps at a time."Hey. Was it okay in—" the rest of my words are muffled against his shirt when he pulls me in, his hand moving to my head to keep me to him while the other rests on my back. I try to breathe through the space of his arm as I move my head against his chest and wrap my arms around his middle."I didn’t think you’d be here." He mumbles as he strokes my back and I smile. "Where else would I be?" He says nothing in response, just holds me tighter against him as if I’d disappear the second he lets go and I let him, needing it just as much as he does. After what feels like long hugging in the quiet hallway, Felix finally loosens his grip on me, but he doesn’t entirely let go as he pulls back. His hands drop
