Chapter 2

Allison's pov

A force propelled me to rise from my chair. I stopped just in front of him, waiting for him to acknowledge me as his mate.

"Hi, I'm Cole." He finally spoke, introducing himself, extending his hands to me for a handshake.

"Um, Allison but you can call me Ali." I said nervously, feeling the intensity between us grow with every second that went by.

"Nice to meet you." He said, taking my hand and kissing it like some old English gentleman

"And I'm the flirt? Pft." Candace, the bartender scoffed behind me before walking away.

"Haven't seen you around before. Are you new here?" He asked, his eyes still fixed on mine. He looked like he was restraining himself from grabbing me and kissing me.

You and me both!.

I was finding it difficult to concentrate or even speak. His eyes were so mesmerizing and my wolf would not stop howling like a wild wolf in heat.

I licked my dry lips before speaking,

"Yeah, I um…" I cleared my throat. "I just transferred here."

"Ah, that explains it. Can I buy you a drink?"

He asked, his blue orbs filled with desire.

You can do more than that to me.

Clara said.

"Shut up." I muttered under my breath.

"Huh?" Cole's brows furrowed.

"Nothing."

I shook my head quickly.

"And yes, that would be lovely."

"What would you like?"

He questioned.

"I'm not sure… what's on the menu?"

He listed all of the cocktails and I ended up picking a cosmopolitan.

"Candace, two cosmopolitan please!"

"Coming right up, boss."

The bartender said.

"Boss?" I raised a curious eyebrow.

How was that possible, he didn't look a day older than twenty two.

"Sort of. My dad owns the place."

"Ouu, so, you are a rich kid?"

"I guess." He chuckled and I felt the urge to capture his laugh in a glass and keep it forever.

Was this what it felt like to meet your mate? Heart pounding, lips dry and body begging for his touch? I didn't know how I was keeping my hands to myself right now.

There was an intense attraction and tension between us that I couldn't resist. I had never felt this way before not even with my ex who'd broken up with three weeks ago

I knew I was supposed to be staying away from boys especially after my breakup with my boyfriend but Kallen was not an easy man to resist.

Ten minutes later, Cole moved us to another part of the bar, a more secluded almost VIP section.

"So, Ali, why did you decide to transfer from your old school?"

Cole asked, handing me my cosmopolitan and taking a seat beside me.

His scent was intoxicating and delicious,

"Um, I guess I needed a change. It was my old pack's college and I had lived there all my life. I saw the opportunity and took it." I looked up at him.

"Ah, I see."

"Yeah," I smiled at him, my face hot with embarrassment.

God, he was hot. I was having a hard time, looking at his face and the fact that he was my mate made him even ten times hotter.

I took a sip of my drink, trying to give myself time to process the fact that I had met my mate in a fucking bar. To think I was having second thoughts of leaving the house.

I wondered if he was going to accept a girl like me, a lowly Omega.

He didn't seem mean though, he looked interested and I was sure he'd bring up the topic of us being mates soon.

"Tell me something fun about yourself," he suddenly asked.

The tension between us was so intense.

"Uhm, well, I'm really fast."

I said and he chuckled.

"Faster than the average werewolf."

Kallen and I continued to talk, bouncing topics off of each other.

He'd bought me at least 4 more cosmopolitan and I was starting to feel tipsy.

"You are so handsome," I said to him all of a sudden and he chuckled.

"Thanks, you are beautiful, like sunflowers." He breathed out, his eyes gazing at me like he'd never seen anything quite like me before. I took it as a compliment.

"Do you want to get out of here?" I asked, feeling bold from all of the drinking.

"Um,"

"It's okay, if you don't want to." I chickened out, feeling weird for even asking him that.

"No, no. I want to, it's just…"

"It's just what?" I questioned with raised brows.

"Um, nothing," he shook his head "let's go."

He said and pulled me up and dragged me outside.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Don't worry, I know a place," he said with a lopsided grin.

"Okay," I whispered.

He grabbed my hands and led me outside the bar and into his car.

"Where are we going?" I giggled.

"Somewhere you'll probably like."

He chuckled and turned on his ignition and zoomed off

I was too tipsy to notice the exact car he was driving, I was just happy to be there with him.

He still had not acknowledged the fact that we were mates and I didn't know particularly what kind of car he drove, I was just glad I was near him.

Kall pulled up beside the woods and I glanced at him in confusion.

"Are we here already?" I frowned.

"Yup." He said and turned off the engine of his car.

I knew I should be scared and worried but for some reason I felt safe with him.

"Come on,"

He pulled me out of the car gently.

"Where are we going?"

"To my secret spot."

He said with a huge grin.

I followed him into the woods out of my better judgment, making sure to stay close to him as we walked.

The path we took was straight and a bit dark but began to light up the further we went in.

Colel suddenly took a sharp turn and led me into a brightly lit path.

I gasped when the narrow path opened up into a lit wide space.

"What do you think?" He asked.

"It's magical." I breathed, mesmerized by the water fountain that was shaped like a Greek painting of a she-wolf, about to turn.

There was a long bench at the far right and a table in front of it.

"How is this in the middle of the woods?" I asked.

"I made it, well, not exactly. I just renovated it. It used to be an old park till it was leveled to the ground a few years ago."

"It's gorgeous," I said.

"I know, there's also a small cabin at the back." He said and grabbed my arms and dragged me towards one.

"Wanna come in?" He asked me.

"Of course," I nodded.

"Whoa, this is gorgeous," I said, impressed by the decor. It was indeed a small cabin with dark themed decor.

"I'm glad you like it," he turned around, staring into my eyes.

He suddenly grabbed me by the waist and pulled me against his chest.

"I want to kiss you," he said, his face barely two inches from mine.

"Can I?" He asked.

"Yes," before I could even get the words out, his lips were on mine, kissing me deeply with feverish need.

My hands rounded his neck and í stood on my tiptoes, kissing him with ad much fever as I could

He slammed my back against the door frame and moaned out at the feel of his hotz muscular body pressed against mine.

"You are irresistible," he whispered against my lips..

"Your scent is fucking intoxicating. I've been thinking about taking off your clothes since you turned to look at me in the bar," he grunted.

"Me too," I moaned out in ecstasy, tangling my tongue with his.

He grabbed my legs and lifted me up. My legs went around his and he fucked me against the door frame and everywhere else in the house.
