GAVIN'S POV

CHAOS AFTER CHAOS

“Focus Gavin, focus.” I muttered to myself as I signed some files on my desk in my office. I should have gone to the company, instead of staying here in my study room.

It only tempted me to go see Iris. And I knew if I did that, I should be ready to tell her all my secrets. Never, not now. It was certainly not the right time.

Suddenly there was a knock on my door. “I told you I want no one here.” I vented out coldly to whoever the intruder was, and I was certain it was one of the maids.

“It's Jerry.”

“You are not an exception too, Jerry.” I teased. “I want no one here and that's final.”

“It's important sir.” He pressed on.

“Come in.” I ushered him in. The look on his face was something I'd rarely see everyday. He looked serious and afraid.

“What's wrong Jerry?” I asked him, placing the files aside. I could deal with them later but now, I could tell there was something bigger than signing these files.

“You have to tell Iris the truth about yourself.” Jerry
