Extra 11 - Misunderstood Sun

This is worse than an eclipse—darker. Otiz couldn't force himself to make what he heard real. It was too sudden, too impossible.

Otiz stood up but then sank back down, his head spinning. Maybe it was from illness, but more likely from shock.

"Are you sure you don't need to lie down? I can help." Ed was already standing, extending his hand.

Otiz grabbed that hand, but not to accept the offer. He gripped it tightly.

“Don Rosas… Did I make a mistake? Are you angry?” With wild eyes, Otiz inquired. He tried hard to think of any mistake he could have made before he got sick.

"Are you angry because I didn’t show up for days?" Otiz knew his illness had only lasted three days, but it was possible Ed was upset or felt inconvenienced.

“Otiz, you were sick. Would it be right for me to be angry? Do I look angry?” Ed snorted, then sat beside Otiz, freeing his hand.

“Oh!” Otiz immediately jolted
