“You... and Otiz! All this time, have you two been...?” Lori trailed off, pointing at Otiz and Ed, who were still practically embracing each other on the floor.
“Your mind is filthy! Can’t you see? Otiz is unconscious!” Ed snapped, then forcefully turned Otiz’s body to free himself.
He hadn’t wanted to treat Otiz’s sick body harshly, but he didn’t want Lori’s wild thoughts spiraling out of control either.
“Otiz? Otiz?!” Lori ran over to Otiz and shook him, eventually seeing his helpless condition.
“What’s wrong with him? Is it serious? What did the doctor say?” Lori demanded an explanation.
“You think I know?!”
Lori was asking the wrong person. Of course, Ed didn’t know anything.
“You never know anything! What if Otiz is seriously ill? Like Javier!” In panic, Lori slapped Otiz's body.
