Chapter sixty seven

Kayla’s POV

Even when I had been approached by the old Alpha to leave his son, I had not been disrespected like this. Everything I had done had not been to piss anyone off. I just wanted to be with the man I loved and suddenly I was stepping on toes.

“With all due respect sir,” I said with my breathing increasing gradually as I tried to hold myself back from doing anything harsh. “But I won’t leave the alpha for anyone. It’s very clear the alpha likes me.”

“He doesn’t know what he likes because you have brainwashed him!” The man yelled in anger.

“If brainwashing people with love gets you loved then I think that is how it should be,” my answer had him reeling backwards in shock. He was mad at me. “Fiona should be having him all to herself if she was loved the way I am loved by the alpha. Instead I’m having all of you come one after the other to tell me to back off.

“How do you think the alpha would react when he knows respectable men like you are bribing me with things that are petty.
