Kayla’s POV

While dressing up, I heard remarks by the maid servant's about a woman who kept on being rude to everyone around.

This had me thinking back on a certain someone I had grown up with.

But this was my special day, and I would not let anyone ruin it for me.

When I was done with the women, I walked out of the house with my family as we entered the pack to join the daytime celebration.

While walking through the pack, so many people bowed before me with children running to me for autographs and signings.

A limousine was created for my family and I to get into as we were taken to the palace where the main party would be held.

“Are you nervous?” father said to me as I shook my head while trying my best to make sure I didn’t come off as being too weak to handle myself. “Your palms are sweating and I can hear your thumping heartbeat.”
