Chapter forty six

Kayla’s POV

I awoke and suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head. I couldn’t fully remember what had happened before I blacked out but I could tell that it was something serious.

I was alone in this room. It felt strange that I didn’t remember previous events.

This place looked like the manor but this room was bigger. It had everything I could ever want in it.

It had a large television with the wonderful curtains and I couldn’t forget about the glass tables and the shelves filled with books on either sides of the door like this was some sort of mini library.

Where was I? And where was the alpha?

Shoot! The alpha! Was he okay?! I asked myself as I heard an explosion. I was at the edge of the pack. We were still at war with the rogues.

I had to get out of bed. I tried getting up but found my middle section tied to the bed as my hands were cuffed as well as my legs. What was all this?

Was I a prisoner? Had I done something wrong?

I could hear voices in the hallways outside but I didn’t know
