Chapter forty nine

Kayla’s POV

I had not seen him like that before. He was almost wolfing out when I came into the room to help him up.

I was in the room, looking in the mirror when his aura had awoken me up.

I saw my eyes glow in the mirror which told me something was wrong.

Zipping out of the room, I followed his scent and his aura to the war room, getting in to see the elders cowering to the edge of the room while he was swelling up to explode into his wolf self.

I called his name countless times but he was far too gone to listen to me, so I did the stupidest thing.

I walked to him, held his hand and called his name.

He looked at me with his monstrous rage, but instead of being scared, I was calm.

When he was okay, I made sure to take him out of the war chamber and we went for a walk around the garden.

He was pacing around in anger. He had so much to say and do that he was willing to wolf out again so I had him sit down and tell me what had happened.
