They all nodded as we zipped to the gate, packed the dead bodies aside and exited with the other guards closing the gate after we were gone.

I stood at the edge of the forest, my heart filled with a burning desire for revenge. The rogues had ruthlessly destroyed our base, causing pain and loss. They couldn’t handle their stupid loss so they had to resort to dirty tricks of tossing exploding boulders into our base.

I was going to fish them out and make sure they regretted their actions. They had no idea the warriors they had dealt with.

On the other hand I was still an amateur to this war thing. I wasn’t strong enough to handle these kinds of things. Maybe if I had come with the alpha I would have confidence but being with these warriors I wondered if we could handle the threats lurking within the shadows and if I would not be killed off really easily.
