Chapter 5
Third person.
Christian, Damon and Jacob all stepped out of the priest's house and started towards their packs.
"You heard what the priest said, we have to go and look for her," Jacob said.
"I have some business to attend to, I'll meet you when I'm done with it" Damon said as he kept walking.
"You can do that later, now we have to go find her," Christian said, walking towards Jacob.
"Yes, the priest said she might be in danger," Jacob said.
"You don't tell me what to do, okay?" Damon said.
"We didn't tell you anything, the priest did," Jacob said, trying to calm them down.
"I already told you I'll meet you" Damon said again.
"We all have to be there if we find her" Christain growled, taking a step closer to Damon "If she will help save my pack then I need to find her and I'm not going to let you stop that so let's go"
Damon took a step closer to Christian and soon the were face to face.
Both their eyes were already changing to gold to show that they were about to switch to their wolves and fight.
Jacob stepped in to calm them down again.
"Fighting won't lead us anywhere, so calm down and let's figure out a plan"
They both kept growling before Christian took a step back and his eye color changed back to brown.
"You're right"
They both looked at Damon till he finally took a step back and his eye color changed back.
"So what's the plan?" He asked them.
"I was thinking we searched the woods, because that's the most likely place for her to " Jacob said.
"If she was in any of our packs we would have felt something" Christain said.
"What part of the woods should we check?" Damon said, as they all started walking towards the woods
"Let's just go, if the prophecy is true, then we should feel a pull to wherever she is" Jacob said as he began to walk towards the forest.
Jacob led the way as they all walked into the forest.
They walked for about 10 minutes before Chrsitain stopped them.
"Do you guys hear that?" He said slowing his pace.
"What are you talking about?" Jacob asked, moving closer to Christian.
"Voices" Damon answered, as he began to hear them too.
"You're right" Jacob said, "They sound like they're close to the border"
"Should we check it out?" Christian asked.
"Whatever happens outside the border isn't our business, it is outside our territory " Damon answered.
"But it might be who we're looking for," Jacob said.
"Those are male voices and we're looking for a woman, let's go" Damon said , as he began to walk away from the voices.
As he turned away, he felt a sharp pain In his head and fell to his knees.
His wolf was whining. He could hear it very loudly.
"What happened?" Jacob asked him
"My wolf is whining, I was wrong. We have to go that way" He said as he got back up
They all agreed and started walking towards the border.
They could all feel their wolves becoming excited within them as they got closer to the border.
"Nothing is here," Christian said.
"We have to keep looking, Our wolves sense something around here" Jacob said.
They kept looking till Damon heard a sound.
He walked towards it and saw a woman lying on the floor. She looked like she was in so much pain. He called the others closer and once they were all together, their wolves started whining.
"It's her," They all said In unison.
"She's bleeding," Jacob said.
"We have to save her, " Christain said replied.
Damon looked at her back and saw a big wound and he gasped.
"She was stabbed with a silver knife, she won't survive this" He said, as he felt his wolf start whining loudly.
"No, there's only one thing that can save her" Christain said.
"What is it? We have to help her" Jacob said quickly.
"The only thing that can stop death by a silver knife is if the victim is bitten by three Alphas"
"But how do we know for sure she's our mate?" Damon said.
"I felt something when I came close to her, but what if it just means that she'll help us find our mate" Jacob said.
"But we have to save her," Christain said.
"I feel like she's very important.
"You're right, I do too," Damon said.
"Are you sure about this?" They asked Christian.
"Yes, I am. Hurry before we are too late"
They all bit her and waited.
She didn't move and it seemed like it didn't work.
"She's not moving, Are you sure about what you said?" Damon said.
"I hope she's not dead, we need her" Jacob said, as he felt his wolf cry within.
"Wait, she's moving a little"
Olivia stirred on the floor of the forest and she felt hands on her. She didn't know what was going on, only that she was not dead yet and she could hear voices around her.
She wondered if the guards had come back to finish the job and make sure she was dead or worse, if they had changed their minds and decided to come and take her back to her master's house even thought she was already severely wounded.
She was so weak she couldn't open her eyes or move her body.
Just then she felt people coming closer and she lost consciousness again.
The three Alphas carried Olivia and took her back to the packs, waiting for her to wake up.
Chapter 6.My head hurt badly as I cracked open my eyes, the lights above me were too bright. The bed beneath me was soft and velvety and although my entire body hurt, the sleep was very satisfying. I looked around and saw myself in a room, everything was white, the bed, the walls and even the door, except for a golden chandelier that hung from the ceiling.I couldn't remember coming here and my mind was foggy. I brought my hand up to my head and massaged my temples, feeling the ache come back slowly. Then the memories started flooding in. The meeting. The woods. The guards. The knife. The wolves that found me. Panic rose within me as I remembered the situation that I was in. I don't know who they were or what they had done to me and why I wasn't dead yet. The stab was supposed to have killed me. My hand moved to the stab wound and felt a bandage wrapped around it. I couldn't stay here. I didn't know what they wanted. They might be other packless wolves who were looking to sell me
I was led to a big room, so big that a gasp left my lips as soon as we entered the room. I tried my best to remain calm as we walked to the middle of the room where there was a big wooden table. At the top of the table, there was a man, he was wearing a shiny black suit and his eyes were the lightest shade of blue that I had ever seen. I could see them from the other side of the room. As I got closer to the table, I saw two other men sitting beside him. They all sat very upright, their faces very business-like and hard. The lady that brought me stopped at the other end of the table and pulled the chair out for me. I thanked her quietly, and she bowed her head to me before leaving. I was confused. Why was she bowing to someone like me?“Hello” I said, trying to break the silence that lingered.None of them said anything, they just kept staring at me intensely. So, I tried again.“Can you please tell me where I am?” I asked, directing the question to all three of them. This finally sn
Third person. They all watched as olivias figure was led out of the dining room. Immediately she was gone, Jacob faced them and sighed.“She was scared, and you two did not make her feel any better with your questions and tones,” he said.“It is not my job to make her feel better, if she is going to be my mate, then she would have to learn how to be stronger than this,” Christian said.“In case you have forgotten, she is not your mate, but our mate and you have no right to call her weak if you n-do not know what she has been through” damn said, again. He was tired of having to spend time with christian and damon. They behaved like unruly teenagers who had no control over their emotions.“You need to stop feeling sorry for her. She is here to fulfill a prophecy and nothing more, not to be pampered by you or anyone else.” Damon said.“I am not feeling sorry for her, I am only treating her with decency, which is something that you both need to learn” jacob saud, before getting up and st
Olivia. I was escorted back into the same room that I was staying in before. The maid kept her hands on me as she led me into the room. I thought of asking her for an explanation, but I remembered how they had reacted before when I had asked. They all looked scared to offend the alphas, and I understood that because I was also scared. I had no idea what their intentions were, so I made up my mind that I had to escape from this place. I scanned the room for a way to escape. The door outside was guarded by two guards, so there was no way that I could escape through there. As I was thinking, I sensed my wolf becoming stronger. I had missed her as we had not communicated since I ran away from the rogue pack. She needed to gain her strength back, so I let her be without trying to communicate with her. “Do you need anything?” the maid asked. “What is your name?” I asked her. She stared at me for a long time before looking around in fear, like she was scared that she might be
Third person.Jacob kept thinking about what Olivia had told them. As a child, her pack had been raided and she had been taken as a prisoner and turned into a slave. He had heard stories of how the slaves were being treated in the rogue pack, but he had never imagined that it was as bad as that. When they had found Olivia, she had looked starved, with scratches all over her body. Her eyes were sunken in and she was beginning to look like a skeleton. When she sat at the table earlier that evening, the fear in her eyes was very evident, she looked like she was picking and choosing her words so as not to offend them. He had done his best not to make her scared but Damon and Christian had made her scared. He started thinking of ways to make her feel more comfortable. She was staying in his villa. He had put her in one of the best rooms in the villa and made sure she had enough maids to order around if she needed anything, but she still seemed scared. He knew what he had to do. He had t

But knowing that had left more questions in my head. Why would they go through such a sacred ritual to keep my life when they had no idea who I was?Had they mistaken me for someone else? What would happen when they figured out that I am just an ordinary slave? What prophecy was Alpha Jacob talking about?I made up my mind that I did not need the answers to them. I needed to find a way to leave this place immediately. I looked around. The only option to escape was the windows and I would surely die if I attempted to escape through there.Just then, an idea popped into my head. The staff in the villa seemed to respect me or at least not pay me any attention. I slipped my feet into slippers and started walking out of the
Third person.Damon.Damon woke up earlier that morning and had a meeting with his council of elders. The meeting ended sourly and he went back to his room to rest.He had seen Mia that morning but passed her by because for the first time in a long time, he did not feel like having anything to do with her. What was going through his mind was Olivia, and it had been that way since the last time they had lunch together at Jacob's Villa. It was like he couldn’t get her out of his head. Something about her voice, her eyes, the way she bowed her head when she spoke, and the way her voice always came out slowly and cautiously, like she wasn’t sure what to say to them remained in his thoughts. She still looked like she didn’t trust any of them, and he had tried his best to bond with her, but he could not understand why she was not taking the opportunity to be close to him. A lot of women would have thrown themselves on him when they found out who he was. But it seemed like she was closer to
Olivia.I had been in my room when Jacob knocked on the door and walked in. He said he had something important to discuss with me and asked me to meet him downstairs. I nodded and got ready and went down the stairs. He was waiting by the door with a smile on his face that I still did not trust. He had explained things to me. He explained that when they saved my life, I had become their mate. I did not know what that meant but I was starting to understand why all the staff in the mansion respected me. They all attended to all my needs. My Wolf, Eva, was still healing, but I was starting to get worried. I knew the injury I had sustained hurt her a lot, but I needed her to wake up as soon as possible. She was my closest friend and I had gone too long without shifting.I stopped thinking about that and looked at Jacob. He had slowly become a friend and answered all my questions patiently. But I still had it at the back of my mind that I needed to escape. I did not need them to make me
Olivia. I felt a small spark of excitement in my chest. I hadn’t been to a mall in more than ten years. The last memory of being in a mall was when I was nine, before our pack had been raided. My parents took me there to get a birthday present. I shook my head to clear the memory and sighed. I did not want to think about my parents. The door opened by the side and I looked out to see the driver holding it open and I was embarrassed. I had gotten lost in thought and everybody had gotten out of the car except me. Damon was standing outside, looking at me expectantly. I quickly climbed out of the car and went to stand in front of him. “we have to get some necessary things” He said, and started walking inside. I quickly followed behind him so that i wouldn't get lost but it turned out that wasn't necessary, because the crowd of people were parting as he walked. Some of them had fear in their eyes, and the rest had admiration. He walked fast, so i struggled to keep up
