Chapter 73: Gideon's Confession

The time that I have been waiting for has finally come. Gideon and I would have a date tonight at the garden area of his mansion, and this made me so nervous.

Cassandra helped me get changed. Our conversation didn't last long because we focused our attention back to Jacob. On the other hand, James didn't show up to me. He didn't return to the cabin after he told me he's going to come back. Maybe he realized that he got nothing from me.

“I'm nervous,” I uttered while looking at myself in the mirror.

Cassandra is at my back, fixing my hair. She couldn't stop herself from smiling, so I turned my head to her to face her.

“I know how this feels, but trust me, everything will be alright. Tonight, you will embark on a new beginning. I have this feeling about the real reason Gideon asked you for a date,” Cassandra said in her excited voice.

I let out a sigh, and smiled at her. There is something in my heart that feels a bolt of excitement to see Gideon tonight. My heart is at pea
